" We were expecting alot of cars that didn't show up. I know we talked to alot of guys that were planning but didn't show up"

this is why I say it sucked......you parked alot of us that showed up early out in the alley waiting for all these cars that didn't show up and the grass was mt till' way past noon....and then when u were asked about it your attitude was like if you don't like it then f@%$n go home......my suggestion to you......if u want to save spots for clubs...then rope it off..... but treat everyone the same....the side street should have been for overflow not for the ones that showed up early......

Hey man I applogize for that but that wasn't me that you talked to that was my other partner that was running the show with me. But I know that was the one thing that we would have changed was the split of the parking this is why we want to find a venue that will let us have everyone park in one area. I do appologize again. But it is one of those thing we are trying to improve to get this thing going with this being our second year of doing this we invite any suggestions.

    sorry again man.

I spoke with this guy and his buddy ( the truck parked next to it) As far as I know they are off the grid. (non Hamer's). Salinas valley/Prunedale boys I believe. Home built projects.

This is my friend Romero's ride, not sure if h'es a lurker on the Hamb or not.

I wasn't able to stay for the night show as well, but it would have been cool to hear some live music through out the day:)

Car show by day and a music show by night is a very long day and hard to pull off.

Yea Frank, let's chat at Asphalt! Good job this year getting this show off the again once again.

  9. Once i saw the suggestion for a venue change the first place that came to mind was Bolado Park. The organization that i belong to has had functions there in the past.(they even let us camp overnight)Great stage area for the bands during the day too....thanks for this years show

That is exactly where we are thinking about having it next year. Having the cars park in the grass area and on the parking lot area and setting up the outdoor stage so that we can set up the cars so you can see the bands play as you get to hang out next to your cars.

Bolado Park would be perfect for this show, enough room for a couple hundred cars all on the grass, buildings for vendors...Do it guys,..... build it and they will come !!!!!!!!!

Ya got my vote for Bolado park as well. If you can avoid the down town crap you'd be much better off, besides county parks are usually easier to deal with.
