The Road Agents Hot Rod Rumble '07

Just figured I'd remind everyone about the 8th Annual Road Agents Hot Rod Rumble coming up this month.
July 20th (Friday night) and July 21st (Saturday) are the dates.

We are pretty excited about this year, especially after taking a year off. We've got some great bands lined up including the legendary Levi Dexter, Rory Justice & Marti Brom as well as some other surprises.

im already packing my bags!!!! i just hope people dont start drinking , and doing burnouts this year!! after the show i was in my room excersising, and reading the bible..but all the noise and burning rubber smell disturbed me! JERKS!

 

i think most of the problems came from the guy playing dio way to loud.

 

I actually saw some of these young bucks wasting perfectly good cans of PBR by spilling the contents out in front of the rear tires in order to hasten the treadwear of their tires.....I don't get it

 

If the 'box is finished in time, Fred can take it out for another "victory lap".

 

Drinking should be done in the privacy of your own home. Not in a hotel parking lot. And surely not behind the wheel of an automobile losing traction. Shame.

amen brother!! im bringing all my scrapbooking supplies with me. maybe we can convert these people .. to an alternate way of having fun without consumption of the devils nectar!~

 

i will be bringing some fresh distilled water for drinking would not want and of the evil stuff in my drink

 

The devils nectar and that white lightening drink. Horrible things if you ask me. I actaully just bought some new knitting fabrics and patterns we may be able to try out after the scrapbooking.

 

Now that I know you two are INTO scrapbooking, KustomLincolnLady and I will certainly make sure we hit the RoadAgents event next year and bring our supplies with us.

 

My man *Stache* and I will be running the I-95 early in the morning on the 20th!!! I can hardly wait to get there.....Yahoooo!

By the way....what time does the quilting Bee start? I'll be bringing my bag of cloth scraps.......

I'm with you Dave! I think you should rescue some of those lost souls from the Caberet Lounge (toss 'em in the Merc) and have them sing hymns to us in our hotel rooms while we pray. I'm sure there would be some memorable shots taken for 'the scrapbook'... And of course, you'd never do a BURNOUT anyway, would you? (See pic below of Dave's Merc, me shotgun) See you all there, hopefully in the coupe.

With the hours I've been putting in the garage, I can't wait to take a break and do some praying with you fine gentleman. You just wait until you see some of the pictures I have for the scrapbook this year.
