Thunder, don't ever give up man, never....even if we find this baby in a basket, there are plenty of us out here that will help you put it back the way it was......we just gotta keep looking. As for the rest of you guys (and gals) out there, check every swap meet for parts that might be off this car, all the cops need is a little info to go on, and they may be able to find the fuckers.....

I just caught this thread and noticed that in an earlier post they mentioned the car going north on the 605. This leads me to believe that the car was headed somewhere in the SGV or San Bernadino/Riverside area. Did you attend the So. Cal. speed shop Show in Pomona? Someone probably saw it there and has been on your dick for weeks now because it doesn't sound like a spur of the moment type thing. I will have the homeboys keep thier eyes peeled across the foothills for you. I also have a buddy who is a dispatcher down on the docks who i'll pass the word to....But my bet is that it is was taken by some hoodrat in the area's i mentioned.

 

Ill watch around the shows im going to thsi month- you never know -sometimes the jackasses who steal stuff think just going cross country is enough....Ill also put the info on my website now.- SOMEONE must have seen something....

I really fell for Marco a real ncie deuce. I don't think its headed out of the USA yet. Its easy to change things and make it hard to see the real car. I would list any thing specical about the parts on the duece, the frame, engine etc.. I'm think its in baldys garage and its in pieces now, new frame, color, change afew parts, its now his new ride or its for sale and it'll be hard to tell. Look at 32's for sale and look for your special parts.

I could not find it on Cragslist, but were there pictures of the car in the ad.
I'm temted to call and request some photos of the car.
I hope nobody is going to call this guy and blow it, by asking, if the car was stolen.

I called the guy about the car, his name is Ryan , I don't believe it's Marcos car, from what he discribed.
He will e-mail me pictures of the car, today or tomorrow.
This Ryan, seemed like a nice guy, please don't call him and blow the cover.

I think he meant RUST NO MORE body in code for Fiberglass- and the missing car is Steel.

If it's a steel car for 34 grand somebody already bought it.

 

well my body is a rodbods...has pull for trunk with 2 gas dampers to open....3 holes in dash where thunder script was or is...rod was painted....so the holes should be possible to spot from inside even if welded......there are some other holes but i wont give them up...so i can identifie blind.....intake was offy...not around much for 6 carb setup....finned stacks have a drilled hole in center front (or at depending on setup direction) a alan key screw holds them in place...not original therfore easy to spot.
my tranny is t400 and rear axle is 57 chevy.
there is also modification to trunk on inside lefthand aft corner...a piece was cut ut for easy access to 64 tbird hood letter installment reading thunderr-d o was painted.
well i wonder how it could be possible to disapear with these loud mufflers.....the cops better never book me for them if i have to do 2nd edition.....thanks all for looking out for me.....this car comunity is the best !!!

 

Hey Rob, I want him to send me some pictures, first. I will post the pictures here but I just want to make clear, that I don't want to start a witch hunt and accuse the guy of anything.
If the car does look like Marcos 32, it would be awesome if you could go down there and check it out, I'll split the reward with you , just kidding. I would never accept reward money from a HAMBER.

Folks, check craigslist, e-bay, or any other publication for 1932 Ford Roadsters, this might be the way to get the bastards.

 

These guys may not be as stupid as everyone thinks. I'd be checking parts too. Trying to sell the complete car would be really dumb and not usually done. Look for the engine and body parts to show up. I know it sounds sad to think of this car being chopped up, but that is what these guys do. They deal in parts, not complete cars.
