High School Caesar at a club that treats their patrons in a Continental fashion...

To read the rest of this blog entry from The Jalopy Journal, click here.
The "kats" out of the bag now!!! Franco, you know this gives me reason to get out to the LSR now. KNUX!
Von Franco you've already been to the last few Lone Star shows right? Now if the Continental Club in Houston got them....
The skies parted and the floods stopped just in time to get the cars down there. Thanks to all that braved torrential downpours to come out and have some fun.
That was an AWESOME show. I picked up a brand spankin new CD at the show and have been listening too it ever since. VERY worth owning..... NICE JOB GUYS!
Perhaps my CD will come in time to have some decent music to play Thursday at my little "Hard Shine" debute BBQ. Seems most of my friends have bitched lately about my 70's classic rock selections.
Glad the weather was willing to cooperate long enough to let us have a little fun. High school Caesar was tight. Guitar George was smokin. Lets do it again soon.
SONS OF BITCHES!!! i already wanted outa this half frozen state and someplace with hot rods EVERYWHERE and yer makin it REAL hard not to move there... if it were'nt for my damn job!!
We had a blast last weekend! Even though none of the band lives there, Austin always feels like home. Thanks to both Continental Clubs, Austin and Houston, and thanks also to Lux for the Crushproof shop tour. Lots of cool stuff goin on down there! Saw Buzzards 55. Looks like its gonna be liftin the front wheels off the ground already! Stay tuned for a special High School Caesar HAMB auction in the near future! Ed
For some of us, the floods stopped just 'after' we got to the club... I got caught in Hurricane Butthead over by Shoal Creek, but it was worth it... HSC done real good, and it was great seeing everyone out.
It was a great night. Thanks HSC, thanks Two Tons of Steel, and thanks to all the folks who showed up. It was lookin' pretty shitty from 7-10pm but that didn't hold anyone back. Even the Waco Kid was out there getting drenched, but I must tell you, believe it or not that 60+ year old chopped rag top did not leak a drop. Amazing. The roadster was out because earlier in the day the sun came out which has been rare lately and this super cool photog from Cali named Adam Wright was in town shooting some of the cars for a book he is doing, so we had been cruisin' around all day in The Kid. Hopefully he'll send me some pics and I will post 'em. The night turned out great after the rain stopped. Thanks again everyone.
Seems like whenever I make plans to go out something tragic or bad happens. Sorry I missed it maybe next time
Franco n Katie moving to Austin....now its time for us to move back home. Missed everyone at the LSR this year. We will be there next year.
