    A newbie here , Rockerarm29, and a old friend of mine sent me this pic last night. Its a cool project,using a wheelbarrow for the cowl and 46 Ford fenders re-worked, for the body. For a low budget Speedster, i love the heck oiuta this. Its what Hot Rodding is all about.

    Rockerarm29 is just learning how to post pics and navigate the net, so i did this thread for him. He has built many Rods over the years , does all the work himself. We used to be neighbors in So Cal then he moved to Ohio, so now we Hot Rod on the phone couple times a week. He is near completeion on this and plans to sell it so he can complete his Flatty powered 30 Roadster.

    Bad Bob...............i will try and get somew more shots from him of different angles. For a homebuilt project i think its very cool. He wa telling me he ran into a stash of flathead engines, i know he put one in his 30 coupe and one in this project. The coupe fired right up and runs sweet, he thinks this engine will be just as good.

    i also like that not only is it imaginative and inexpenxively built but it actually has some style too.. thats a HUGE deal there. we see (and poke fun at) poorly designed home made hot rod bodies all the time here. this one is actually well thought out and has some style.

    as i said at the beginning of this thread, Rockerarm29 is an old friend of mine. We Hot Rodded together for many years and built a few Rods together,a 32 chopped pickup,a 30 model A chopped coupe. He has built manu home fabbed cars over the years and also dabbles in Vintage Triumph M/C 's. A talented guy that can make a car outa of a pile of parts . Wish i had his talents. He is in Kentland ,Indiana.{i mistakenly typed Ohio earlier in this thread}

    trying to get some more pics from him, he's just now in the progress of making the rear mounts for the exhaust to body.Looks like he's not far away from completion and "firing up" .

    I swear to gods there was a thread on here a while back about building roadster bodies from fenders and hoods. Anybody got a link?

  25. ditto to that, that is a great example of hot rodding on a budget, with a classic style.....very cool.

    Any build-up chassis/body photo's?

    Cheers,

    That's what it's all about mang! I read the title of the thread and thought, oh no! But, like looking at a train wreck, I clicked on it. Wudda surprise!

    The V8 logo needs a bold, black or dark red line around the characters!
