IMHO .. It is a shame that this most excellent car is a 1off ( pic below ).. If it had been a car made by GM , it would probably have been a best seller in Scandinavia:)

I like the new Pontiac solstice looks, low swung, big wheels, and almost sinister chop top look when the vert top is up............dont know if it would be considered retro but it sure catches my eye more than any of the other new stuff Ive seen.

Yes we will see more concepts with a retro flair. PT Cruiser, New Beetle, Jag S-type all prove that you can make money with a design with a retro touches.

PT Cruiser, Beetle, S-type, mustang, GT-40, AVX, FJ Cruiser, Charger, new Camaro.... there are alot of newer and new cars out there being built with retro looks and its working for the most part. Car guys typically wont like em though becuase they either **** in the performance dept. or are just too expensive, or aren't and exact carbon copy of (insert whatever old car). Not that it matters, the general public still likes them for the same reason why the general public likes our hotrods, theyre cool in their eyes and the new 'retro' stuff gives them the opportunity to have something that relates.
