Here are some REAL Track Roadster pix. Went to Dale's house - he's the photog for this session. Car was photographed running, FWIW.

Chuck, please never post any more photos that YOU'VE actually taken of your roadster. YOUR photo skills just don't do the car justice. Dale's on the other hand are outstanding! The little roadster looks AWESOME. Can't wait to see him in person. Congrats bud, you and Zack done good work!:D

I done told you B4 - I'm a wrench, not shutterbug. Dale's a designer and takes waay better pix than me.

Thanks. It's been fun so far - just gotta get the bugs worked out.

It is beautiful, except for the towels wedged in between the radiator and the shell.

I gotta ask, what is that gimoga washer and big bolt(?) sticking out from the steering wheel hub?
The car is very nice. A picture would have helped when you had the heat problem. I figured you must have had a T track car with a round nose. Even hoodless, the nose can cause heat problems on a traditional nosed car due to lack of air flow.
Glad you got it cleared up.

Guys - the car is nowhere near finished; there are a million things to be done..lots of finishing detail. Need to install about 200 sheet metal screws along with pulling the rear end to resolve some mech issues. that's why you're seing goofy thing like towels and engine mount washers where they don't belong.

Six months of spare time for a frame-off resto of a circa 1949 rod...

All that and video, too. You luck *******! Lunch this week? You drive!!!

You can swap that towel out for spray foam in about 10 minutes...

  21. Did you learn that trick on ol'skoolrodz.com? :D

finally got her all cooled off, Eh?

I have somehow missed any pictures of work you've done, so in the "other" post, I was wondering "Is this a nice car, or a wired together ****box?"

Suffice to say, I am happy it is indeed a VERY nice car with a ton of VERY nice custom tricks.
Killer man. Simple and clean delivered by complicated and dirty. I love it!

    Lux -

Actually, it's a pop -riveted together ****box, and Dale is a photoshoppin' fool! JK...

Thanks. I approached this build as a resto of a '49 racecar, and what you see is the result. 34 years of hangin' 'round Model A's has kinda rubbed off. I.m pleased with the result, altho it needs to be quicker than it is now.
