I think it looks bad ***! Although, to me it would be a little imrpactiacal on a driver, nice piece for a show car or th keep sitting around the garage to show off your skills and converse over. If ya got pics of what it's going on lets see em!

First of all, you couldn't put that on a streetable car without having it impounded for the lack of driver visability. Second, thats not something that would go on a "traditional" rod. The guys back in the 40's and 50's didn't have anything that came close to something that looked like that. Also, a blower hat like that would would only be a distraction to what ever car it was mounted on. Nobody would focus on the cars quality, stance, or style. They would only remember the car for that scoop. That wouldn't be fair to the rest of the car. You couldn't drive it and it would be a huge distraction. So, the point would be???? A lot of work went into that scoop and thats to be appreciated, but there is a fine line between being different and being tasteful. The finished car would immediately get a nickname fastened to it by the public and it probably wouldn't make the owner happy...
I have to give it a polite thumbs down. Thank your friend though, at least he was thinking of you. Just put it on the peak of your garage or something.
Ummmmm...wow. I'm sure it took alot of work and was made with love, but damn that thing is so O.C.C./OSR/RatRodirific(TM) it hurts. Please thank your friend for his kindness and talent and then find a nice closet to hide that thing in.
