Im putting a 56 old motor and Trans into a Model T. Home built frame. But is there a company that makes the motor and tranny mounts for these motors? It has the front single pad and the tranny has the two side mounts. I have the stock tranny mount alread and was going to see if i could modify that to work however i think that i am going to be better off just making a whole new cross member for it cause it will sit way to high in the frame. So i thought that i would see if there was a company already making the cross members. -Andrew
I've seen a mount kit for sale on that auction site. It bolts on like the Chevy side mounts, but to the front of the head. You have to drill hole on one side, but doesn't look hard. I think Hurst or Cragar made them? Not sure. I'll look for them later if no one else posts a pic.
Pulled this pic off ebay, I forgot to bid on them myself These were Hurst Olds to Stude chasis <HR> <CENTER><TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=2><TBODY><TR><TD vAlign=top align=middle><TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=502><TBODY><TR><TD align=middle width="100%"> </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></CENTER><SCRIPT language=Javascript><!-- document.write('</style>'); document.write('</form>'); document.write('<'+'/script'+'>');//--></SCRIPT></STYLE></FORM></SCRIPT>
The mounts you're speaking of are duplicates of C-T mounts from the mid '50s. They were made by Don Clark and Clem Tebow of Ardun powered streamliner fame.
