Man Scott! You had me going there on your response... First i thought....Informative answer but heartless man... Its amazing the number of insightful posts that come out of this hot rod forum from a bunch of gearheads who have more grease in their system than Ashland oil. I enjoy these posts sometimes even more than the tech posts. Tech post for the Mind.
Don't worry about a clearer head or if your next boss is going to be cool or what kind of jobs others have. Take one day at a time, enjoy your school years, keep your nose clean, and everything will fall into place. Trust me, you are not going to find your dream job/career right out of school. It takes time and dedication. One year out of high school....I don't think anyone expects you to know what you want to do. If in fact you really like the school atmosphere you should perhaps teach.
I guess this was good reading again. Growing old isn't fun. I'm so old I even quite buying green bananas But after reading this I think I'll go out and buy some green bananas again OK it's time for my nap
Thanks Denise, Your right. I have thought about teaching a lot. Hopefully the opportunity will come some day. However, teaching a HS shop class can be the most stressful job of your life because of students that just want to take shop so they can get high in the back corner. A guy at my work thought for one year and hated it, but he is not me either. See you at the Drags this year. (it will be my first) Me and Nick32Vick will be heading up there together.
