I DO go to the bar to hang out with my friends and be the DESIGNATED DRIVER so they don't have to drive after drinking and I also promote a friends tattoo shop and clothing store thier during thier concerts..Also,as far as dolly and a hammer goes, would do if I had tools...But seeing ads I'm a poor ass with no tools except for a simple $150 tool kit that I can fix most things with except creased dents...Besides,I thought HAMB people helped each other out,but lately it seems the opposite...Seems to me that unless someone is sick, shot,or ripped off,no one wants to lift a finger...So I'll stick to helpinh those that help me,and the one's that just shoot shit ass comments instead of offering a helping hand can piss off..Don't need comments on where I hang out..I made this post to see if someone would help a person with no tools who got the bad end of the deal because of a drunk ass who doesn't know when to stop..By the way, every person who has seen this has agreed that the person had to be extremely trashed and plow into the side while pulling out....

Oh,I have other pasttimes, like going to my autistic brithers little league games and giving him my support,as well as helping my frineds work on thier cars as far as motor work. Also helping friends in general when they need it..Also donating time to the local police by speaking to youths about the dangers of gangs and drugs..Also,the bar I hang out at is a place I used to work not to long ago as a bouncer..Way to make any more jackass assumptions..I also do a lot of art in my free time,as well selling items for friends such as vehicles, car parts, and audio supplies...Also working on a vintage clothing business...Any more questions...Want a work history onb me also??Want a background on me,my life story??If not then shut your pie holes and stop making ASSumptions..Thanks..

Yo Rev., sorry about your Car bro. thats a real pisser...I'm a believer in Karma , and that even that I don't Know you, I'm sur somewhere out there you might find a bro. who could help you out even with the tools for you to learn with at there place(tools cost money and most who have the tools feed there families with them tools) but if guys are working on there car, whats the diff. if another guy show's up and works on his at the same time, hell you might even earn a new friendship...If you lived out by me in KY.(yhea long way from Cali.)we have driveway thrash sessions all the time, I've meet some of my best friends doing this, we trade labor all the time, feel your pain, but don't let some loud mouth ass wipe get to you there are several guys on here who are major shit stirrers , most are great, I've had great luck with most I've met on here, but you have to expect a little crap, from some. Its the law of averages, don't let it get you down, if you go to Harbor Freight you can get a Hammer and Dollie kit for like 20 bucks, so what if you gotta wait to get it complettely finished, thats why they call them projects....Take your time, take a deep breath, if you do all you say you do Karma wil find you...And those who, pass Assumptions on you well piss on'em...You'll get it fixed....Not everybody is an asshole.. bro... You'll find . help

All I'm doing is asking for some help in an area I'm not good at..The last thing I want to do is is cause more damage that I can't afford to repair...My friend has a dolly and hammer and I might ask him for some help...

How did this turn from a thread about a dudes car getting bashed into a thread about where and how he lives his life?

Watch the news folks. There are drunks, crackheads and Meth adicts EVERYWHERE.
Now maybe someone in his area can help a brother out?

I would help if I were close to ya Rev. I learned my first bodywork when a dickhead in my high school parking lot backed into my 65 bug. I used a claw hammer and a chunk of hardwood to get the dent out, it took forever but it ended up looking good. If no one steps up, give it a shot. Best of luck.

Well,it looks like I have to put the bodywork on hold because I have to pack up for the move, try and sell the '29 Chevy P.U.B.C.,and get rid of my car audio/DVD equipment so I can get my fron tires replaced and my exhaust replaced..And possibly a new pair of front springs..

Hey Rev, its shitty to hear something like this happen to a fellow car guy. Its like other don't have any respect for thier property or yours any more. Whats even worse is having a bunch of guys pass judgment on you as if they know you or even live in the same neighborhood as you. But it dosent matter what they say or think. Because at some point we all need help for one reason or another. I hope you get it fixed or learn how to fix it either way good luck to you.

Who the hell was passing judgement or inquiring about this dude's life? The way this thread seemed to go was about 10 people gave good starter advice on how to deal with that dent using minimal tools and a little bit of labor. Then there was more typical HAMB banter, jokes were made, and then the autobiographies began. Dude, you came on here for advice, you got it. Fix the damn dent. You're not gonna learn to do this stuff any other way and screwing up a 70s caddy's better than screwing up a '49 Merc, so do it. If you take your time, you're not gonna screw it up any more than it is and if you do, you can that guy in your car club who welds to show you how to seam in a patch panel. In fact, you might wanna ask him for help in the first place - lots of people aren't in car clubs and have no support system outside this board. But, one beginner to another, you gotta pick up the hammer/dolly and try or you'll never learn and these things that people who know what they're doing moreso than us take for granted become HUGE things instead of minor speed bumps in life. You've got a hotrod project, I read in your intro, how are you not intimidated by building an entire car, but worried about a little hammer/dolly work on your daily?

Once I'm done moving, you are welcome to drive to Havasu, use my tools, crash at my place for the weekend and pound it out. Best part is, I dont drink, so you don't even have to buy the beer.
