Wonder if you could wait till dark, put a big plastic sheet over the whole car, and set off one of those fogger bombs inside, maybe with the back seat backrest removed opening to the trunk?

Here is your solution: Get a shop vac with a good filter in it. Suck up a box of moth balls, then place the hose by where the nests are. Leave it for a few hours during the day til you see no more wasps. Then, suck up a can of RAID with it. Tape the hose shut and leave overnight. Dump the vac canister in a dumpster across town.

We haven't had a nest of yellow jackets around my house in years, however towards fall they start coming around. What we do is buy a 20 oz moubtain dew, drink all but 2 inches of it , cut the neck off and wedge it in upside down so it acts like a funnel. The wasps are atracted to the sweet aroma, crawl in and can't get out and drown. Hate to break the news to you but soda's work better than beer, and it doesn't waste any beer.

Muskol bug repellent contains Deet. Kills wasps on contact, works fast, additional wasps won't come near the nest.. Spray them as the entire or near the nest. They'll drop like flies. End of story

Careful of paint though, If worried, spray with Windex to wash the over spray off of valuable surfaces.. Windex is everything safe.. (works absolutely fantastic on upholstery stains too). The Muskol can advises to be careful of painted surfaces but I have not had a problem...

as far as beer goes, it works better than soda cause the wasps get drunk and never leave the 'bar'... jmho

Raid kills everything on contact from 15 feet, Just hose the nest for 1o seconds and run. Don't fuck around with using garage chemicals as bug killer, and don't hassle with figuring out what it is- RAID KILLS ALL. Wash it off your paint cause it's strong stuff

I use a two liter bottle of Coke A cola and pout the pop in to another container. Cut the top of the yop of the pop bottle where thw curved part meet the straight part.
Leave the cap off and turn the top upside down and insert into the bottom.
fill the bottom about 1/2 full of pop and put near the bees, wasps, or hornets in a sunny spot.
The bee smell the sweet smell and crawl in and cannot get back out.
Every late august I put one infront of the house and shop it works great. Coke a cole works the best.

"Doing all sorts of Bee SHIT" ..........Classic:D

I had always heard that Brake Clean works well then I saw CRC (the Brake Clean People) actually sells a WASP spray.

  15. took a wasp sting to the adams apple today diggin in the scrap pile, my zippo and a can of brake clean seemed to end the battle

  16. I was just watching one of those kind of shows on Discovery or some other kind of channel that people who like to learn stuff watch... said that africanized bees can smell CO2 real well, and are drawn to it to defend their territory.
I get the little bastards that make mud/paper looking hives that hold a dozen or so at a time. Hate those fuckers; too several stings to the face one day and now it's personal.

Found that any light/volitile solvent seems to knock 'em down. And I like to spray WD40 or some other oil around the ground near the garage; keeps them from coming around for several days. They don't seem to like the smell.

And having the right music on is a must:
"Yeah, they do a Doors show, you'd be reallly impressed, in fact, it goes a
    little like this:

    Love me two times baby
    Love me twice today
    Love me two times girl
    Cause I got AIDS..."

You could always light the Camaro on fire and blow the smoke into the '50 to get rid of 'em.

The ENTIRE back fence behind Crushproof is covered in Mustang Grapes (Them's wild grapes, yankees) and they have tought us many, many wasp killing lessons...
a soda can with the pop top half closed makes a damn fine wasp trap...it also means look before you drink.

Brake cleaner+fire= no more wasp nest or flying Termite (Thanks Sci Flyer72. ALWAYS check your old tin before dragging it into the shop.)

Cadillacs are the natural habitat of the Big Red Wasp. fortunately, they're clumsy bastards, and pretty easy to knock from the sky with your ball cap. (loud, too)

and finally-1 electric fan pointed at them seems to agitate the hell out of them, and they want to leave the premisis. don't know why, but a big fan, left on all night, and it seems to cure alot of problems.

and I don't care how bad you gotta pee, leave the grapevines behind the shop alone...it's like a 100 yard Wasp Buffet.

A friend told me a trick that I talked much shit about til I tried it. I've told others the trick and they were skeptics, then they come back telling me how good it works...

Get a big bowl from the kitchen or a coffee can, or something big that can hold liquid. Squeeze a good 5 second hard blast of dish soap and fill it with water. Toss it on the nest and stand there and laugh as they all hit the floor immediately because their wings are soapy and bubbly. They dry up pretty fast and die, the nest shrivels up and can be knocked down easily after it's dried. Make sure to get em while there's a bunch of em on the nest so none of them come back. I've never seen one get up from this and fly away.

It works ALOT better than any canned shit that you have to aim at them, hit 10 out of 40, and run like a girl for safety. It's actually pretty funny because they all just fall straight to the floor if you get them with a good douche of dish soap.

The best thing I ever saw was an aerosol called Bee Bopper. I don't know if they still make it but when I saw it used it will literally knock a wasp in flight straight to the ground.
