    This is a test...only a test...

Using the various photo-sharing sites is frustrating. So far, the 3 sites i've tried, don't upload my albums in the order I spent hours arranging them into, on my computer. Then it's click & drag 150 or so photos back into my sequence:eek: for an album of about 500 photos. I've got 1000's of photos sitting here in my computer, that I'd like to share with the HAMB Family. I have issues so far with "Kodak easy share", "Shutterfly", and "Photobucket".
Hey, Don Lindsey, I really dig your site. How could I go about doing something similar??!!
So, now I'm just gonna post a FEW photos (THIS IS JUST A VERY SMALL SAMPLE) to check the size.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated!!

Pic***a is the best... I have used Flikr, Picasa and Photobucket. Picasa is cool because you have a program on your computer that indexes all your images and allows you to create albums, plus it has an upload tool that is tied to your google account.

My public albums are here: http://picasaweb.google.com/poutous

Once you have an ablum made (create the album and crag the images in there) you right click it and choose "Upload to web" or something like that.

    http://picasa.google.com/

The only down side is that image linking does not work are as well as Flikr. Sometimes the images that you embed into a forum (like the HAMB) don't show up... for that Flikr is king.

Kodak is ****. Way too damn hard, and the image embeding NEVER works. I have steered a few customers away from Kodak.

Thanks Eric. Photobucket messed up the order of my photos, and I could only upload 100 photos; not my complete albums that have 300 to over 600 photos each, all nicely arranged by year of car and angle of shot, etc. And as far as my link not working, there's another thing that's frustrating! I can click right on it without a p***word, and be able to view a small sample album of 18 pics in 'slideshow' with no problem. But, I'm trying to SHARE these photos, and if it doesn't work for anyone else, what's the use?!

Thanks S.D. Joe. This is all good info, exactly what I'm looking for.

Sanford..Try Pixamo! The order/timeline of your photos won’t get messed up because it automatically imports metadata with the photos, such as date and time. The m*** uploader opens right in your browser so you can upload unlimited photos at once, quickly and easily. Also, clicking your tags brings all your like photos together, so you can easily arrange by car or year, where Photobucket failed you! S.D.Joe- Kodak really is complete ****. Pixamo provides you with embedding links for your images in different sizes! Copy and paste and done! And your original high res photos are always there too if you want! My buddy put me on to Pixamo and I haven’t gone back to Photobucket since.

Why dont you just upload 100 of the best shots instead of 30 shots of each car? ( I know how you are :D )
    Then 100 more.
With photobucket you have to start uploading with LAST pic you took then it will change it to your first pic...like stacking photos
