Well stuck in Reno for work, turns out Hot August nights is kicking off this week, anyone care to admit their here? Will be filming out here till Wednesday. So I got tomorrow night. Any Hambers in RENO? Will shoot pics if I see anything cool.

Well guys, I stuck here another night, might try to make my way down to the Peppermill Hotel where most the shot is at, saw a few sweet cars last night. But also a lot redneck specials TA's and Camaros with fat meats.
I'm here! Look for a 66' lemans convert with GTO grill. Burgundy and black, with retrojo plates, can't miss me.....I'll be at the Atlantis, Peppermill and Grand Sierra(Hilton).
welcome to any major citywide event. Try getting a hotel room for the Pebble Beach Concours/Concourso Italiano/Historics and report back. $300-500/night with a 4 night min. Woodward Dream Cruise? similar story. ANY major event, not only auto events, is cause for the hotel industry to jack up the prices and grab what they can. thats the freemarket/capitalist system. as for tradtional rods... there are more than you would think. The popularity of the traditional style has not been lost on the attendies of Hot August Nights.
I'm every where during Hot August Nights. Cruising my white '72 Riv and blue/white '55 Plymouth Savoy. Savoy is fresh from the "barn" 2 months ago. Really cleaned up nice could use paint but is presentable as is.

weeklong party/car sho in Reno and Sparks....they get about 10,000 cars of all kinds. Tons of people and doowop stuff
