That is something only a young rich man should buy cause it would take decades to go thorugh and sell it all....... I could not buy it I would want to keep about half of it right off the bat!!!
BTW is that a 33/34 Ford Tudor with a trunk or something else?? The Zeypher looks like it got hit in the ass pretty good but its very fixable.

  4. I dunno, I had to strap up the body on the last Model A we brought home because it was falling apart, parts and pieces were flying off just driving out of the field. These cars look like they'd at least come home in one piece. You can see the good floors in the '33-'34 Vicky body, and a lot of them have paint on them yet. My guess is they probably didn't see road salt, so if the crap I find is like a 0-5 on a scale of 1-10, these are going to average a 4-6 on that scale.

This has been on the HAMB before, maybe six months to a year ago. The cars are in southeast OK.

Someone rich has to buy them and either auction or sell one at a time. it is a goldmine. A neighbor of mine had about 100, 20s-70s he died and his sons have them now and will let them all rot into the ground. at least these are up for sale

I had contacted the sellers of this a while back.. They would not reply to emails and did not call back when I left a message on their phone. I have a full shop with two hot rod related businesses running out of my large building. I have a money backer that is always looking for investment oppurtunities.. These people never got back to me when I or (money bags) as I call him have tried to contact... Jason

    The link states
Our grandfather purchased an existing salvage yard in 1946. He continued to grow the business another ten years, at which point he closed the doors to what is now a time capsule.

If it closed in 56 where did all of the post 56 cars come from? did they sneak in?

My guess is that this is being hyped for a reason that begs for an answer. The cars are indeed real but the rest is a bit vauge.

  20. Holy Crap! We should pool our cash and invest. Just the list is worth drooling over, and then there are those pictures.....

A few months back we ran a short article on this place on OldCarsWeekly.com.
We were never able to get a response from the e-mail address on the site and one of our guys even spent a couple of days when he was out in OK asking around about it without any luck.

The Web site appears to be registered to a guy out in CA, but who knows it may be another story like the one about the stash of cars down in Portugal...Too good to be true.

I'd love to know if anyone knows more about this place.

This thing was posted before on here with the same results. Several people I know had tried at length to contact someone with no luck. I think they are either fishing for ridiculous offers from crazy people with too much money, or trying to establish value for insurance, maybe? I say scam or bullshit.

I "google earthed" it back in March, never could see anything that would make me think I found it.

You guys need to visit www.vanderbrinkauctions.com . This auction company specializes in selling unrestored collections that actually sell! I was at a sale in northern Missouri where they set the bidding in at $200. There is a sale coming up on there with 350 old vehicles.
