Breakfast Crew HA/GR

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Tetanus Shot, Aug 4, 2007.

  1. When's the down under tour? You guys sure can talk it up, I'm sure you could organise a boat!!!!!!!

Have fun, that's what it's all about.

  2. A flying pig would be a Pigaseus. I have a t=shirt from Hog Ranch Radio with a Pigaseus on it, if I can find it, I'll wear it to breakfast Saturay.

Saw Racer, the class dosen't allow overhead V8s. Thanks, though…

That sounds good Phil!!!! Thanks for the heads up for Night Prowlers.

  4. Cool John, ya scored, huh? When you get your pipes, they will probably send a catalog, I'd like to see it. And that's all I'll say about Night Prowlers here. This is a HAMBster thread.

And on the HAMBster deal, I told my gas ststion guy what we're up to. I'm pretty sure we now have sponsorship on lubricants.

Getting into the Bacon spirit, I think we have to have a Piggy bank for the dough.

Oh crap, this threads "piggish" turn has started our guys off on a tangent. It looks like we're going to do a "nose art" thing now. Guess you'll have to take responsibility for kicking off an official HA/GR fad, eh?
    What's next, "kill" stickers? :p

So who now has the largest team? I mean after the Bacon Bandits of course. :D

  9. The team is getting to be pretty good sized. We'll see how many are in on it at breakfast Saturday. '60Coupe is in, but he'll still be on vacation next weekend. We have the flathead and Vik has a complete 6 cyl drivetrain. We can consider building 2 cars. I like the idea. The 6 cyl car can have an illustration of a poker hand of 6s over 8s and the 8 Cyl car can have an 8s over 6s hand. I'm just a sucker for the cryptic kind of shit.

  10. Also I talked to Dean at Miller's Alignment and he's willing to sport us up alignment so these high powered monsters can go straight down the 1/4 mile.

who needs to go straightor even fast? isn't all about waving to the honey's as you go down the track?

  12. Speaking about the honeys, I think we need to do burn outs so Bad Bob and Dreadman can bring us some back up girls.

  16. All of 'em, Chris. If we can't be the quickest, we can be the most entertaining. It's about the SHOW.

  18. A group of us went to see what Dick Moseley was building after breakfast last Sat. He's working on 2 HAMBsters, one will run a Ford 223 6 holer and the other will be powered by a Dodge flathead 6. This class looks like it might get pretty big, IMO. Dick says that there is a lot of interest from guys who have been racing for years because the HA/GR class has so much bang for the buck.

I wish we had brought a camera. Dick has some neat stuff in his shop. It was fun running up the freeway with Rusty Rod, Burny, Kopis Korpse and Timebomb. Seeing all the kids with their noses pressed up against the car windows and all the waves from the sweeties makes my feel like the traditional car scene is safe in its future.

Shameless plug follows: I know you guys are well on your way to having a car, but spread the word that my ha/gr car is for sale as a roller or turn key if anyone is interested in a quick entry into the ha/gr fun.
