Here's mine, coming in on the trailer, on three wheels. Now it's down to a body and a frame, but I have a new decklid, new passenger door, rear window, '51 hood, and pretty much all the interior except the front three headliner bows, the garnish molding divider piece on the windshield molding, and the front seat.
I'm shooting for the two-year plan, to have it running, but it may be the five-year plan.
As for the plan, it'll get clipped in front (and probably the dreaded 350-350) but on the outside I want it to look like a mild 1953 custom. (The hubcaps may be a few years later.)

By the way, as a result of all this, I have a complete '50 passenger door I'll be getting rid of if anyone's interested. I haven't even unwrapped it to take pictures yet; after I bought it, I learned they changed the door latches '49 to '50.

Here's the one I've been kicking around. Forged steel, balanced, over .550 lift in the cam ..and no muff on the lakes.

Those bumpers look trick. How tough was it to section them and then get them ready for chrome? Love that car!

Not chromed yet...the license plate is hiding the pie cut to pinch the front one, i had to cut some of the splash pan out to get it snug, on the rear I had to take 3" out of the center but the contour is really nice. Not the best pic of the rear bumper..sorry.[IMG]
