Thanks to Eric (Vaphead) I put a new mono-spring in the front of my ’47. It makes all the difference in the look, ride and handling in the car. The 2.5” lowering also raised the tailpipes a couple of inches allowing me not to plow the streets and driveways everywhere I go.

Here is a before and after shot of the front wheel, plus a couple of shots of the new stance. (Please excuse the dirty car)

    Thank you again Eric.

Yes, It has a '51 Vicky top, dash and Crestliner wheel. The orig mods were all done from '56 to '58.

    Thanks,

Like the lowered front but to me it looks like the back needs to come down a hair now... Issat just the angle in the pic?

Your correct, after lowering the front now the back seems too high for my taste. I have a feeling I'm going to start chasing it front and back lowering it right to the pavement.

The front suspension is split bone solid. The grille is '46 Olds behind a Plymoth bumper.
