As usual, you guys in Europe do "traditional American hot rods and customs" better than we do in the USA. Dont get me wrong, we have a lot of great cars and builders here, but it seems at any given show coverage in Europe, the accuracy and percentage of traditional cars is much greater.

That Nash Truck rocks! It used to be a 4 door as far as I´ve heard. Incredibly well built.

We had a good trip back home, only was about 4 1/2 hours for the 550 km but I had to fill up the 34 for 3 times... I had kind of a hangover so I pushed it a bit...fuel mileage went to hell but we had fun in the left lane big time
Gudrun was following me in her Panel truck, which only consumed half the fuel the 34 did... weird ... anyway , that weekend rocked!!

We had a great time. Thanks to Hot Heads East for allowing us to attend an awesome show. We need more like this back home in the states. (Where we actually see the cars perform. And yes that Nash truck was probably my favorite ride there. Amazing workmanship throughout. The green A coupe was a fav as well.

My 36 ran good even thou the oilconsumption was enormous! 5 litres for 500 kilometers. Have to check the pistonrings next time.
Met a very nice couple from Finland, Ari & Elena from the HAMB.

Here´s a few more shots of my friends car. It belongs to Rene from the Haters Carclub in Nuremberg. It´s a 30 Model A on A Rails ,chopped 2,5 inches ,with a 59a flattie w/single carb (plans to put a dual intake on it soon) and 16 inch wires. He takes the coupe out to almost every car show in europe.

Nice cars! I spent 1960-63 as a youngster living on Fronmuellerstrasse in Fuerth, just outside Nuernberg. Had a great time, it is where I got hooked on cars.

I seem to remember Germany as a country of beautiful girls and women rivaling Sweden, was I dreaming? Pictures of a car gathering and no babe pics?!

What a meeting and nice pictures! Thanks to all, Blitzmädl& Chris it really was a pleasure to meet you, hope we see in Finland too.

You German people have not so many customs than we have in our meetings. Rods are mainly rough but some really slick ones as we can see from the pictures.

Racing was really well organized and nice to look. Place itself is so cool with big buildings. Bad thing is that you can´t hear the bands inside bacause of echos.

On the roads there´s so much traffic and you drive like mad mans even with rods and customs. Of course we saw many trailer queens too.

And you guys& girls drink almost as much as we Finns...

Danke Schön

The irony of German's dressing up like USAF personnel is hard to get over.

Hey Nads, I appreciate your compliment on our rides but the comment on the two young ladies in fake uniforms was unnecessary. It´s about the style not about politics.
