Plowboy came over to take some pictures of my Chevy coupe to list it on e-bay for me and he made me roll my car outside for some pics of it on its new rolling stock.

I am not really one for bias plies but I like the look so I thought this would be a good compromise. They are 16 inch Cokers on 16 inch American Racing wheels.

I think it looks cool. Now I have to talk that asshole out of one of his extra bubbles so I can make a back window.

I'm glad he makes you roll that out and take pictures so we can see what's going on. Still looks good!

Since the craftmanship (and the vision of the car) is so far beyond what I could ever do or dream, I am hesitant to say this, but those tires don't work for me. The backs are too big, too much sidewall, and the fronts don't look right to me either. No ctiticism, just my .02.

I would never think to do something like that. Art is sometimes 90% inception. Almost anyone can copy. Truly artful. Nice work.

  16. I love the car man- I just see one thing that would possibly work....a set of zoomie type headers exiting back and turned down to match that "hood side" opening?

That thing is wicked, it looks like it should have a prop on the front. Twin machine guns on each fender? Ha, nevermind. wicked

Fantastic-looking hot rod, Kid! Don't care for the skinny, tall bias-ply tires, however; they look skimpy -- like a set of roll-arounds. Tighten it up with some well-chosen real tires and it's major! IMHO

Once you have that thing ready to go, you MUST take it to a Stude meet and fry some minds!

I'm very impressed. I re-echo belair's sentiments (especially the fact that I couldn't do that in a million years) but there is so many choices in rims out there that salt-flats seem too easy. I don't know what vision you have for the final package so maybe it'll all make sense in the end. In any case, fantastic metal work. You are very talented.

  24. I like the wheel/tire combo...whatcha runnin for a drivetrain in that thing? I like the car a bunch.
...You should bring that thing to the Pileup.

Do you have a head-on and rear shot of the car? Interested in seeing how it all goes together.

Seriously, you should bring it to the Pileup. Bet there would be a crowd around it all day.

Kenny, The car is going to get some sort of funky headers that come out of the openings behind the tires. They will probably have to get custom built because I am sure there is nothing out there that will fit it.

I like to hear all the replies - Tires too big and tires too small, Ha Ha Ha When he had the roll arounds on there everyone made fun of them.

I think the wheels and tires look great! I don't know of anything that would look better. They were all out of ChoppedDownStudebaker4-doorinto3window coupe tire and wheel combos at Auto Zone (But they did have the hubcap version) so he had to settle on these. Ha Ha Ha

Motor and tranny is 350/350 of course.
