* 2008 Hamb Calendar Photo Submission *

So it's that time again. HAMB calendar time... You supply the photos... I put it together... You buy one for everyone you know... Ryan gets the proceeds... and you get a kick ass calendar with images suitable for framing. Everyone wins. The last 3 are collectors items now so and the last 2 even won awards... submit your work and get famous.

Here's the skinny. I need photos. Not your everyday run of the mill, this is my car at the local cruise night photos... Photos that when you look at them, you automatically get it. You know, that same feeling when you stop and just stare at your ride. The photos in the calendar are about passion... spreading the gospel. Think Garage magazine, Church magazine, the new Choppers book, the Cheaters in Europe book, David Perry, etc.

Requirements: Post your submissions in this thread. You MUST have hi res version of the photo for it to be used. I've gotten some really unbelieveble photos in the past, but couldn't use them cause they were taken on the camera's lowest quality setting. That depresses me. And if you post a pic you thought was cool from the HAMB that you didn't take, I need to know who took the shot so I can get it from them, should it make the cut.

Every year someone says "include some pin up shots"! That would be cool, but they have to be tasteful and artistic. This ain't Hustler. It's only really worked out one time. I can be a real dick when I wear my art director hat.

Format: VERTICAL. That's right Vertical as in up and down. Final art will be b/w.

Post your pic here. If it gets selected, I will contact you for the hi rez. If selected, don't dilly dally. When I need the pic, I need it NOW. Especially since we are a bit behind compared to last year.

Deadline: Let's say Sept 21st. That gives y'all a two week window and plenty of time for anyone to find that special photo.

That's it. Impress me.

 

Not necessarily this pic, but I think it'd be great to have something in the calendar along these lines.....

I'm kinda bummed that Coby, Spike, or Coop didn't take these photos of Megan cuz they would have turned out better/more artise I'm sure. Here goes anyway, I left space at the top and bottom of some for the actual calendar portion











I've got these all in extremly high res and just about every one of them with extra space on the top or bottom.

 

I would think Chad has that one set aside already.
