Got to see that car in person on my road trip back from Bonneville. Very cool ride. I like the wheel/tire combo.

I think it's great. I can't seem to find the time to put a model A together. This type of effort is pretty damn cool.

...but I liked the rollers!:)

Seriously... between you two, I'm seeing some of the most unique, creative rides out there. You guys rock!

  6. I agree with you Mike!! It's amazing, refreshing and exciting to behold the sheer genius these guys have - what imaginations!! Aaron, thanks for insisting on the pics, the tire combo looks dead-on to me, can't wait to see the headers.

I've always loved those studes. I like the way the back fender muscles into the door likes it's ready to spring. And the nose looks like what Chip Foose wishes he'd done on his roadster. Nice vision!

  9. That's too dang funny right there!

I'm loving the whole thing....and I think the exhaust coming out the side will just seal the deal. What kinda school system you guys got up there that results in brains with ideas like this? We need us some of that down here! :D

Same here. I'm also curious to see what you're using for headlights. Nice job on the metalwork. It's great to see something that's so wildly different. Just what is it that you guys grow in the feilds out there??

I like it! Nice choice on the rolling stock. The big question is, will it make it to the Pileup? Hope so.

The car is gonna get paint, probably Black.

As for headlights, I almost got a set of e and j's but someone wanted them worse than me. I have a set of those lexus halogen lights that have the little reflectors like e and j's so I might make my own bodies out of fiberglass or some old headlights. I don't think that guy that was making the new ones is selling them anymore. You can get the knockoffs on e-bay but 200 bucks is a lot for shells that you have to do everything to.

As for why we do shit like this, you haven't been to Cisco or Cerro Gordo, have you??? There ain't much else to do here.

As for the pileup even though work is slow, I doubt that it will be up there but you never know.

Man I been lookin for them hubcaps! Plowboy you wanna pick up a set for me.
As for the wheel tyre combo what the hell is wrong with it?? Not like we all have a wheel shop in the shed next door ala Cotterpin to make some flash one off's.
The car it bitchin and would look good with a set of mini wheels! Hang on, how about tank tracks??
    Yeah that'd be cool!
    Or
    Can you make it fly?
    That'd be even cooler!

    Man I need some sleep..........

PS, maybe some 35 wire wheels would have looked ok too?

  16. Wheel/Tyre combo mightn't look right because it should have them under the wings!

As for exhaust, I'm all for mitred straight pipes coming out of the portholes, yee-hah!

I was thinking metallic blue with green flames in chunky flake, of course. Looks really good Russ, I'm going to have to come out and check it out in person.

Think I'd call Mattel and send a couple of pic. Could be an extra $ or two for you on the Hot Wheels deal.

Just bring it as an unfinished project. How else will you ever subject yourself to first hand criticism of the magnitude you will get there? If it isn't finished we'll be able to set you off in the RIGHT direction so the final product is PERFECT.  ;) :D
Besides, I want to see it finished or not. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze!!!
