I may try trading for a Model T bed that has been turned into a trailer if the bed is decent. What would be a rough guess on the value of it?

    Thanks,

well first thing is it a T bed OR an A bed, there are diferences,

    and
that is noticeable if you care use the ssearc hfeature this was covered not that long ago

model t bed last ones i dalt with were around 450 or so,/ some dents holes, normal 80 years of use condition,

They claim it's a T, I'm waiting on pics of it. If it's decent, I may try working a trade on it. They're wanting to trade for a trailer, I might see if they're take my 6' x 12' for it.

I thought of that, but ebay sometimes has inflated prices due to bidders not knowing the value. I won't ebay it if I get it, although I might offer it in the classified here. I'd rather sell at a lower price here than deal with ebay.

Wish I could help, but with a disabled wife that has a hard time traveling more than 300 miles in a day, it'd be impossible.

I don't "need" this bed, but I haven't had any luck selling my trailer. I figured this might sell easier, if not, it'd make a great start on another project. Heh... like I need another one.

There are 2 distinct T beds, the 1st one in 1925, first year of the pickup, the 2nd one in 26-27 slightly larger than the 25 and uses the same tailgate as the 28-31 Model As.
Needless to say, the early 1925 bed should be quite rare BUT the beds were offered as conversions by Ford for a couple of years after introduction.

Looks like a Model A bed, rather than a T.

Thanks for the help everyone. I emailed him and told him that the bed isn't what he thinks it is, we'll see what he says. I have a trailer I've been trying to sell for $500, if I can work a deal where I get his trailer and $300, I might go for it. If it'd have been a T, I probably would have traded straight across due to the bed being pretty straight.
