Well it has been slow but it is coming along. Amybe I cand sneek it out to Jamiefest Saturday. LAst week got the exhaust ran, top back in, grill mounted, cowl band mounted (which was a *** whippin), cowl lace installed, and headlights mounted. Finally got the rite pitman arm (short vega) that i needed. Looks like if the raind hold off it will finally get a test drive. About 2 months late but heck not bad for the first full fledger. LAst night
rusty it's shure looking great.i really like the work you are doing.you should be very proud.you may want to look at painting the column drop,it really stands out.just my opinion, take it for what it is worth. -danny
Thanks everyone, Only way to get big and little bias ply ins 15" was to get whit wall. ****s but thats the only way. May switch them. Thanks Danny and everyone else, makes my lack of sleep worth it and all the stress feel better
Well done Rusty, but I would paint those white walls. They just stand out to much, for such a swweeet ride! Robert
Rusty, Building a 31 for a fellow in Kiowa Kansas, full fendered unchopped, with air , 400 small block 4 speed , not quite as far along as yours, we only painted the firewall and dash before re-mounting on the frame. about 2 weeks away from firing it up for the first time. Interesting some people said you could fit a vintage air unit in a Model A. Only problem i had is it does hang down a little. What seats are you using? Nice job!
That is a way cool looking A. I dig it. The only thing I'd do is drop the headlight bar. Nice work, as usual.
Thanks everyone, Whitewalls may be coming out. I really thought the fenders would hide the front whitewalls more than they do thanks for all the comments. Rusty
Nice looking coupe. Sure like the way it looks. Ya done good. I guess that new puppy does get in your shop.
Rusty i wasnt trying to piss you off so dont think of it that way.. (Hopefuly you didnt) The white walls were the first thing I noticed and it was all in fun.. By the way me being the *** that i can be i forgot to tell you you have a very fine ride there.. Nice work Dave
WOW! I think I can see Jesus in the side of the car over there. That is one nice ride, customers car? jerry
