As an added bonus, I get to see my favorite Vagabonds... AND Fiddy!

This is going to be a riot!

  5. Same here please, I've got no reply to my email either. Is it the hat I wore last year? I promise not to wear it again...

  7. You'll find me you slut!! I'm too pretty to be ignored. Yep, I'll be a the Pile-Up but I'll be rideless...again... (unless Breeder gets really drunk:p)

Life has been kicking my ass this year but it's only the 11th round of a scheduled 15 rounder. I'm doing my best rope-a-dope.

I can't believe it's only a month away... time flies when you're all strung out on heroin on the outskirts of town.

My 49 is almost done but i have a 5.0 efi mustang drivetrain and modern radio dont know if a non traditional drivetrain would be welcome. never been there before. What do you think?

Thanks Oldcarmike I think i will drive it up and if the wheels dont pass then i can park it outside. Sounds like it will be cool either way. Only live 250 miles awas to it is a pretty easy 4 hour ride up. Good chance to check the gas milage too.

I'm writing from Orlando. We are here for a week of Disney. Its so HOT/HUMID all I think about is that nice, mild weather of the 'Pileup... in 3-1/2 weeks!!

  18. No sweat! You will not regret coming to the Pile-Up. This will be my 3rd year and I've been looking forward to it for months. Getting to see all the great rides that make show up is worth the effort but seeing Breeder's lovely face in the soft October sun is a treat not to be missed. (I think I'm gonna swoon...):D

From what I remember, modern drivetrains are OK if you can't see them. Unless you drove your Ford there with the fenders off, I think you'll be fine. Is the radio in the glove box? If its in the dash, just slap a piece of duct tape over it. :D I'm not speaking for the Czars though, so if your still not sure, PM Django, or Hellfish. They'll set you strait.

    says you.

The number 1 reason cars are rejected at the gate is modern wheels.

You didn't say what kind of wheels you're running, but I'm guessing they won't pass if you had to ask.

Just a little FYI, as usual, I-90/94 going through Chicago is under construction and 94 on teh northside will be severely restricted through early Nov (if we're lucky). This will also cause back-ups on all the other roads, so if you can avoid driving into Chicago Pileup weekend, avoid it!

At a glance, it looks like that blue ford has late model mustang gt wheels. If so, the radio and engine is not a concern... How about a side shot!

Yeah, from what I can see, those wheels wouldn't pass. Sorry.

Ok! Now for some excitement. Garunteed to make Breeder pee his pants! :D ;) Here's the swag for this year's show. We decided to change things up a bit since some people felt the look was getting stagnant. Not so, but we have choices for you fine folks!

We haven't figured out all the prices yet, but I'm sure the short/long/girlie tees will be the same as last year (believe it or not, we had long sleeve shirts last year! they sold out in a matter of minutes!). Not sure about the sweats, but they will be reasonable.

Is there going to be free beer again this year? and if so, is it going to be Warbird?

No unfortunately, Warbird changed to bottles and thus can't be a sponsor anymore. This year our free beer sponsor, back from it's brief hiatus... PBR.
