I haven't put up any new pictures of my T since some stuff got changed months ago. New lower windshield, tweaks to the driver's area to fit my fat body. I thought the pictures were kinda nice.
Awesome T roadster! You running a banger aren't you? That is how I want my '25 Chev roadster interior to look. Cheers Jimmy
Down Boy, get down Mr Wood Thats going to turn a lot of guys onto Gow Jobs. Thanks for the pics of you ride
Looks like it should have a banger, or maybe a flathead, doesn't it? It's less traditional and more rapid than it looks. It has a warm 350 and a 4-speed. I keep the hood down.
The car is beautiful! Would it be possible to get a better picture of your front shock mount setup, I think you may have solved the problem on my T. Thanx-MIKE
Wow. That looks first class! The car mags could be getting there articles and interviews from HAMBers and getting the best. Forgive my ignorance of your car but who did the build?
Boy, I love that car. Please show more details of : Petals and brake cyl with clutch linkage. Steering routing. Rear end. Front suspension details. The foot well is a clever way to gain much needed leg room. deChrome
looks like a high-end build...great stance. I too would like to know if there are more pics of the build.
You make me feel so inadequate. Everyone of your cars sends my heart into the danger zone. You are my hero. That's the best looking T I've seen in years. Thanks for keeping the bar as high as you do. It gives us hackers something to aspire to. You've got to make up a tow bar and get a picture of the T being towed with your truck.
Excellent Tony, but I wouldn't expect anything less! The black, orange, aluminum, chrome, leather, and wood and make such a great package. Just right. Neal
Wow, I'm overwhelmed! Thanks for the many nice comments. I have a few pictures of the car pre-paint and interior, but very little chassis detail is shown. I'll scan some of those, and shoot some detail photos within the next few days. Yes, scary fun. It was built by Larry Mitchell, a retired carpenter who lives in Crestline. He put the car on eBay very soon after he finished it, and I found it there in early 2005. I didn't know Larry, nor had I ever seen the car before it was complete. With the exception of the windshield, the Kelseys, and the driver's details, everything about it reflects his style and workmanship. I'll see what I can do. Yeah, the foot well gives my knees a little more room. Ummm... 1.5 x 3 flat rectangular tube frame, 94" wheelbase, .030 over 350 SBC, Clay Smith 304B, 700 Holley, light flywheel, gear drive, Vertex mag. Saginaw 4-speed, '38 Ford running gear, '40 brakes. Steel '24 bucket with functional driver's door added, fiberglass turtledeck, 300 louvers. 900 miles since built. Did I leave out anything you'd like to know?
We think alike. The bar is made from a Ford wishbone. Here are a couple of older pictures of the rig; the Del Mar picture is from Dave Lindsay (both cars now have orange wheels):
