Franks RPU. He has a pumped up Chevy 2 banger with dual Weber carbs , a five speed and a Halibrand quicky. This truck has been together for many years and has been a reliable fun hot rod for Frank.

Here's my project RPU, with a HiPo 289 and C-4 and Halibrand quickie. I used a shortened Brookville bed with the body shoved back about 5 inches to get a 32 inch hood for better proportions. The headers are designed to fill that gap under the body when you use an A frame instead of a '32 frame. The rear wheels are 20 inch Mopar pickup spares which use a 5 on 5 1/2 bolt pattern that fit old Ford drums. I chased down a set of old SW Greenline gage for the dash.

The "use the search" response is always a cop out.

Out of curiosity, I did a search for "RPU" and "roadster pickup" and had to wade through a bunch of garbage.

I'm happy to see others post photos.

I, for one, need to see what NealinCA has been up to with his '32 RPU, so I'm going PM him and make sure he gives us an update.

What do ya consider a RPU???? I have a '62 GMC cab that I cut the top off, sectioned @ 6" and narrowed 18" down the middle, pretty close to Model A dimensions inside (a little narrower actually)......long term, 60's show rod project...............

I'm usually not a big fan of any T's, but yours is AWESOME! It almost makes me want to go out and build one myself. Great job! :)

Here are a couple pics of my 1929 model A Roadster Pick-up. I have just completed. Channeled 5 inches with a 401 nailhead, lots of fun. I look forward to seeing yours, good luck.
