I was just wondering how many guys/gals on the HAMB are under 30 and own hotrods/vintage tin... I have nothing against older peeps of course. I was just curious. I'm 28 myself and I'm in the middle of a '31 ford coupe build. I have a lot of friends my age that are interested in older cars but they all seem to settle for other options (aka imports.) It seems that the vintage hot rod movement has opened the doors to the younger crowd. Speaking for myself, I've wanted a hot rod since I could say the word and I bought my coupe body about 7 years ago. So who here was born after 1977?

My grandson will be parking his chopped, channeled, fenderless '38 GMC among the ricers next year (his senior year) at high school.

Good good keep em comin. I have nothing against imports either. I actually have a 240sx with a turboed sr in it and my wife drives an evo viii. Nothin beats a hot rod though.

    I'm 22.

Built 1965 el camino (first car)
    1950 ford coupe (mild custom)

Working on 1930 model a coupe and 1964 ford Econoline window van.

Been into hot rods for as far back as i can remember, couldnt imagine working on anything else. I work for Meguiars car car products on their special events team and therefore get to travel around the country to about 25-30 car shows a year. It's amazing to see how the import scene is taking off and no one our age is into hot rods anymore.

    God Bless

I'm 20. There's a 36 Ford in the family I've fucked with forever. Had a few older unmentionables. I'll be starting on my model A when the cutzu dies around it next month.
