So this is why I can't afford or find a good HEMI Awesome thread - well worth the time to read and view
another. Man I love the bodies of these cars. My next dragster I was leaning toward something like maybe 1959 K-88 style car, but everytime I see this kind of stuff I want to do 1969. With over the head chute tail. Long live the fed.
I always think if I ever won the lottery. During that press conference thing they put on the news I would say, "Tom Hanna and Pat Foster stay by your phone because I am calling you guys first" And nobody would understand what the fuck I was saying , but those of you that do would think it was the coolest fuckin thing someone could say.
Pat Foster built my fuel tanks. They levitate 2 feet off the floor on sundays and glow in the dark...Whenever I walk by 'em I hear monks chanting.
That is true because a friend of mine told me he seen it on some kind of cabel channel show about holy things.
Here is a top fuel car I painted. It has cow print airbushed. The logos are airbrushed to look like branded cow hide.Lucas Oil co.owns a cattle farm. The red candy is painted over old cars airbrushed .
That Creitz and Donovan "blue" car was one of my favorites of that era. I planned to replicate it and had acquired some Jere Alhadeff photos of Hanna working on the tail so I had some reference as to how to recreate it but then I found and purchased the Mr Lucky/Soapy Sales car. As much as I love "tail" cars and may eventually build one just 'cos, I have been in love with my car since I first saw it in April 1970. Roo
I just got this picture from Rudy Perez. It's Denny Milani's #19 with it's alter-ego #10 paint job...either way, this car is astoundingly beautiful.
This thread is like winning the lottery and having strippers show up at yer 18th birthday shindig..............
