Another missing from the list........"UNKL IAN!!!" This guy does more to promote pinstriping than anyone I have met. He attends pinstriping Jams all over the US & Canada and spends most of his time teaching and assisting newbies. He LOVES to slap a brush into the hand of someone that has the desire but has never had the opportunity. Thanks "Unk".............

    Peter Pan (of chicago)
    Von Franco
Brando ( I think he calls himself something else now) Great striper
Non active Roth and Von Dutch because they pushed the limits (all Limits)

  23. Hard to choose.......I think the best way is to just add to the list. I did not see Rollie.

There are so many very good stripers that only have local fame. Just take a look on pinstripers lounge to see that there are many very goood brothers of the brush.

bill reoll .... (short round ...one of the reasons i got into this gig...and candy painter from hell....)

herb martinez (sp) ... saw him at super chevy about 88 or so....

and a guy that was at a small local show when i was just getting out of high school....and actually talked to me about striping.... think his name was lance...from la designs out of indiana....

    forgot a couple others....

not sure if you'd call him a striper ...but i'm sure he does stripe.... scott sullivan

another dayton area guy that was influencial... john minigue (sp) MDI his drag car lettering and striping was impressionable to me then and still is now...

    steve lainhart ....

joe bianche .... the guy has some of the nicest script lettering and fine line stuff out there....usually seen on big trucks

which would also bring up .....tramp.... another master :D

  27. Ron Myers (Myers)

    Mike Sexton (Sex)

    Greg Tuter (Lil Toot)

What's crazy, is they are all here in Tulsa. It's probably a bias because of that reason. I have looked at and watched others, but these fellas still take the cake.

...there will be about 200 in Detroit in March !!!

pretty hard to narrow it down, I won't make a list 'cause I'd always think of another I should have added....the Pinhead Lounge has quite a few....And there is no "best" and never will be because it's like handwriting...everybody's is different, and everybody has a "style "they like.
If I couldn't stripe, and I wanted some done, there's about 6 guys here within an hour's drive that all do just as good a job as anyone I've ever seen ! And, there's some damn good young "up & comers"

well lets not just think of it as a "favorites" list anymore, lets just throw names out there of who you like that way people can head over to the lounge and look them up
