The Jalopy Drags were awesome, Great cars, great people, and a great track. Beaver Bob runs a awesome racetrack that is foremost about having fun. No politics, no whining, and rules are kept to a safe minimum. Scary Larry has a hit on his hands, I can't wait for next year. Thanks on behalf of the Injectors. We left work early Friday afternoon. Driving out in Mike's Sedan, Shadow looks like a coupe? The Willys at the Comfort Inn Saturday morning. Flatdog and A.B. There were plenty of super stock Mopars. A very cool mid-engined salt car, this time a drag car. The Bilbow Dragster, a Lynwood. Mike's Sedan required some motor mount adjustment. Don's Rebel Reaper The Willys broke Mike's sedan ran strong all day.
Wow, great pic's. Looks like a lot of fun. The purple Willys pick-up is too cool. Thanks for posting. Gary
Ej Kowalski built the coupe and***** Lewis put together the powerplant, the car ran I think around 80 mph in the 1/8 and it sounded awsome, hands down a great group of guys that only added to the days perfection.
Looked like a good time,...lots of neat cars, I specially like Grumpy's Chevy coupe. Any more pics of the 6 poered 40 Chev? ...thanks fer postin...
here you go everyone, this was such a fun show, I had an amazing day started out getting a ride down the strip from the owner beaver bob and scarry larry it was so great I couldn't stop grinning all day below are a couple links I took close to 400 pics so share and enjoy. http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=0AZtGjNo5ctmLmY¬ag=1 http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=0AZtGjNo5ctmLog¬ag=1 later p.s. if larry is doing the show, go to it, this guy does it right
I like the fact that even the track's ambulance is old; a 70's Chevy/National! The only thing better would be a Cadillac.
I loved the purple willys truck. What a great car. You guys did it great and that 331 sound good. Get that rear suspension figured out so we can play next year......Don
