54s are probably some of the nicest looking 50s cars ever. The 54 98 is absolutely magnificent

My Brother has a lead on a 4 door and is trying to decide. I told him to get it and we'll shave the door handles and suicide the rear doors.

Anymore pics or info on the V8 that came with it? Are they 12 volt or 6?

This is why you need to watch out when you drive where the deer and antelope play. Just ask my pal Keith who owns that cool red '54 Olds.

Yorgatron, your black '54 brought back fond memories of one I owned in the mid seventies. It was rear ended before I owned it and
parts for these cars just didn't exist here, it was probably the only '54 Olds in the country at the time so it was repaired using the rear of a '64 Holden (mid size aussie G.M. ) hope the pics turn out.
    Cheers Dago :)

Here's my mordoor 54 that I sold a couple years ago. Put a lot of work into it.
Was a blast to drive and got plenty of looks. No paint at all when I got it, but lots of surface rust and 2 cars worth of parts.

I have been looking at these as well. Why is this the only 2 door I've ever seen with a post as opposed to a hardtop?

Were the Rocket series 88's something worth snagging? What about now? Are they something that should be bought if found, cleaned up and sold for a good bit more? Not necessarily mid 50's but the earlier cars...
