Just got back from a great weekend driving around the English countryside. Heres a few pics for ya. Just starting off only 100 miles to go Quick re-group First casualty a broken dissy drive puts this A out of action
kool pics ! looks like some cars could use offroad tires in the U.K. just kidding ! Rain, mud & dirt, you guys really don´t care, do ya´? That´s so kool, so ******** ! How did the channeled A Bone get through the water ? just curious... Hope to see you all at the hayride next year ! Chris
We had a great time, I even managed to get a deer on route. Smashed my headlamp and nearly ended up on my lap. Ivor had it for tea
Looks like a good time. I think I've finally figured out why you guys drive your cars so much. I've yet to see a lawnchair in your posted pictures. Not to fear. Just as soon as Walmart starts building stores in your country You'll be all set. Every spring you can pick up your choice of colors and your can start doing the "rod park" just like here in the USA. You will also be surprised how much gas you can save when the engines aren't runniing. Frank
You guys are friggin' crazy. I know a ton of people that wouldn't even think about running their rod through water like that. Awesome pics!
Haha! Great run! No doubt, Ivor & Ratty are having venison! Good to see so many folks out. Did John get his EL running again?? Or was he dead for good?
The last hill we came down tested the cars to the limit some of the ruts were a foot deep. Check out the bottom of the grill shell on this coupe, it took a pounding
Looks like fun, but what's with the rain - it was bright and sunny up here! Ratty and Monkeybiker stopped in at the Model A / Early V8 Clubs' meet at John Mould's museum/collection on their way home to Norfolk this morning:
He had to get the AA home Ernie. We lost two more flatheads with blown head gaskets and another car with a flat tyre.
They already have them. Called Asda's or some ****. That's some SERIOUSLY rough driving! I'd NEVER take my car for a swim............stupid thing would sink from all of the holes in the floor boards. Guess they don't call it a RELIABLE-ity run for nothin!
You folks are crazy!!!Luckily i admire that quality. LOL I would love to attend an event like that,if i ever can manage a trip across the pond.
It never ceases to amaze me that Jim flogs that beautiful car so hard. Too bad about John's AA trip home... Glad I wasn't there to try and take the '34 through 1' ruts!!!
