I still don't have a good pic of this.... the bow tie on the wall is made out of 4x8 sheets of plywood.

what was a realistic 'slammed' hight before hydrolics and airbags?

I want my '57 to ride low, but want to do it in a traditional way. I'm sure they had laws stating how low they were alowed to go in the lat '50s?

  13. Not late 50s, but 1960. Don't think you can go much lower than that sedan.

    very cool, thanks guys.

my Fairlane sits pretty low as is... so with a little work to my springs/leafs I might be able to get a pretty low ride hight.

Anybody got any more pics of that black and silver Rivi. I know it's not traditional but I got a customer that flipped over that thing. Thanks.

Ride height will be 2" to 3" higher. Bottom of fenders are the most vulnerable point. Do NOT want to smash them.

its too bad that shoebox got totaled, an old lady didn't stop for a red light and T boned him, he flew across 4 lines and wrapped it around a pole.
he was blesssed to have made it out alive.
he saved 2 wheels and the motor, EVERYTHING else was bent beyond repair.
