That truck is beautiful! I usually dont like fancy paint and detailed upholstry, but that truck makes it look natural. I AM IMPRESSED!

I am in the planning stages of a RPU build. To Z or not to Z has been on my mind. I always prefer the high look but I've been on the fence. Your truck has solved my dilemma. Great job.

High quality truck for sure. Wish it was as fast and easy to build one as it is to scroll through the pics!

Looks like the interior should be featured in a 1960 edition of a little Rod & Custom Magazine.

  17. Great Truck. I think the grill is a good choice, a little butch, but very cool. Actually doesn't matter which grill you go with it will look great. Love your attention to detail.

    Good luck with it, MRAK

Absolutely love the truck. Everything looks too cool, get the scanner so you can post more of the build pic's. Also, I love the use of the originial dash, way bitchin'.

I love Ryan's blog, it leads to the coolest posts. Sometimes ones I've ignored because I didn't think I'd care.

That's some beautiful work and the fact that someone in your family bought it new makes it all the cooler. Can you imagine someone walking up to your [fill in appropriate ancestor here] in 1931 and saying "In the year 2007 your [fill in appropriate descendent here] will fix this up into a high performance vehicle."?

    Thanks for sharing.

I think its so cool I can't believe it. It's my 2nd fav of all time , the 34 being my first choice. Thank you for not using the cool but so over used 32!! Then here you go bringing in the way bad 34!! Thank you for the super documentation of the project, makes it look easy!! Your taste is the slickest ever, the family story is the coolest. Thanx again for taking your time to share with the gang here on the worlds best forum for hotrodding!!!-Sololobo/Roadburners of Omaha

  26. Nitro-Flattie is my Uncle, and it's pretty much because of him that I've got my 1950 Dodge. He's a great inspiration, and he even let me help him weld up the headers on the '31 (my claim to fame.)

Here's another pic from three years ago.
