Those are some really cool pictures.

  5. I don't deserve the credit, Unclee found them through a Google search.

That strip was cool, as late as the 70s and early 80s, it was still pretty much like the strips I've seen in the old movies, real laid back, we used to park Grandpa's RV in the gravel parking lot and watch from lawn chairs on the roof. Unclee was just the other night, over cold Natural Lights, telling me some cool stories from the old days(he's like 70 years old or something;)), maybe he'll chime in.

  11. Gene Hammon Ford is still a mile or two from my house; I see a cobra there and a Ford GT once in a while.

  18. Quoting Ryan's JJ Blog,"Woah… Check out what Richard’s uncle stumbled upon!"

He's actually all of our uncle, the H.A.M.B.'s own Unclee. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/member.php?u=9901 This guy has been around hot rods for decades, and is very knowledgeable about most things automotive. (Kinda like having Squirrell for a drinking buddy.) I've been hanging around his garage for about a year(he lives within a mile of me), and I swear every time I go over there I see something new (old) under a shelf or hanging from a rafter. He has lots of project fodder; we're going to put something together once my **** is on the road.

  19. This one is blurry, but looks like maybe a Plymouth, what with the small side windows?
