it was kinda a whirlwind,,i was skrappin away on this thing to have something bitchin to cruise around in pretty much the most part of 2007...but a 50 merc came up out of the blue,i knew the car,,and ever since i was a lil kid ive always wanted one,,i thought,,"what the heck,i put the 51 up for sale,,cant hurt right"...next thing you know i had a few people real serious,,,like i said,,it all happened too fast

yeah, it kinda disappoints me a little when i see some of our better cars going off the europe. oh well i guess we will have a buttload of barn finds over there in 30 years. btw i am guilty myself i sold my 66 chevy sport van to a guy in england.

The exchange rate right now makes our cars seem cheap. That explains some of the reason that a lot of cars are going overseas to Europe.
I was thinking the same thing yesterday, the exchange rate is very good right now. I will also say that the deal went very smooth and it was fun talking with and sharing "car stories" with someone from a different country, we plan on staying in touch,he had his wife and kids along, they were cool too, it was a cool experience for me and he paid with Cash!
its funny, i thought europe (and the rest of the world for that matter), hated the U.S. then why do they want everything american? our cars, our clothes, our music, our porn... what did finland ever give us?.... abba and some cheese? by the way i'm just kidding.
