Tough to get much done in my garage. As long as the kids bikes are sharing the same space I am going to stick with the flat black paint.

Bikes only right now a swap on a 29 tudor project fell thru, so the hunt is on again.

 

I have been watching this thread for quite a while, out of curiosity more than anything else, and am impressed with what some of you guys got in the way of garages and contents. I guess it's time I post a few pix of my humble abode. The '34 is my latest tinkerin' toy. And for what it's worth, the '29 Phaeton is FOR SALE.

 

This will be a modified wheel base Drag Car sorta like SamIyam's car, but with a full roller 327 and dual quads, Posi, 10"slicks, spindle mounts, 2-3 gallon Moon tank, tube inner structure, 2x4 frame w/lightning holes, removable passenger seat, a little nose high and squatted in the rear, should go like stink! This pick was what I planned in the begining but now drag car is the way for me.

This is what me and COOTER are putting together with some help from other friends (not on the Hamb). Should be done by the end of Winter. Running a SBF with classic style T headers and vintage Carter AFB. It wont sit this low, going for a late 50's-60's vibe. Probally satin black with white firewall and accents. I might even put flames cuz I've always wanted a car with flames, we'll see?

 

Mine as of this afternoon. Shooting for getting the body back on at the end of the month.

 

Not even all moved in yet. But, it's amazing what you can get done with an extension cord as your sole source of power.

man talk about a cool thread. Some very cool stuff. The garage with the willys in it almost made me fall off the stool. I have a coupe and a pickup in mine plus just about every willys item they have made. It's a wonderful illness

By no means a garage, but it's all I have till i buy a house... taking out a motor in a dirt driveway by myself was a BITCH!!!!!

 

Currently my buddies car is taking up space in the garage.


Chopped, suicide doors, 40-something Chevy truck dash, fenderless, tilt column, etc...


But this space will soon be taken up with my own winter project!
