It's a SS (Super Sport)....Nothing sporty about reversed backspaced 14's, Gold daytons. It's was a Mucle car. Key word is was when it's been Latin Americanized.

It's not traditional, and it sure as hell aint a lowrider, but it is the baddest 65 ever. Street driven 8 second car, I saw it click the 60' timers with the back tires at Norwalk.

 

Ill take a low rider over a rat rod, some are actually pretty cool

Wow, I just mentioned my big block 65 biscayne and got my *** chewed out by everyone cause it aint traditional and too new. I guess if ya flake the roof its ok somehow???

I don't own this car anymore... But, this was my '65. Replaced the original 275 horse 327 with the 396. It seemed everywhere I went, people would say it's nice to see an Impala that wasn't made into a lowrider. Not many left it seems...

I think this car needs some frame modifications, it has so much torque it's twisting the front wheel off the ground!

 

Yeah.........I know GENIUS........but there is NO "special" name for an Impala with a vinyl top......it's just an option.......jeez...
