Stroked-- that was done for HAMBer Acme Speed Shop. He owns the art now, so it's his call to release it or not.

This is a new clay model for an upcoming gallery show. Next step is castable rubber mold. Title of piece is 'Merkylasaurus'. It's 24 inches long.

They are House Ind. fonts. I think one of them come w/ the 10 year case study book, well worth the $$ BTW. The other I think is in a set we purchased. As for my new logo, it was custom built from nothing more than Impact that has been shortened and serifs added.

And my website has been down for a while for a rebuild. Hopefully it will be back up soon.

House Ind. stuff is cool. Even if you don't have the money to purchase the fonts. The promo catalogs are really thought out and perfectly executed. I can go through one of those for hours.

Again another cool art show! Too many nice pieces to single out so… Good show all!

At the "Graffiti Night" that I cruse to on a fairly regular basses. We get our hart-attack drinks in these Styrofoam cups. With several of these on the same table folks started getting vexed, as to whose were whose. So folks started writing their names on them. Well me, being the compulsive artist that I am, one thing lead to another, and next thing I knew I’m covering the whole darn thing. A guy even bought one off me. Anyway here’s a few of them just for the heck of it…

Now eyebone, those cups are cool. I had a boss man who use to take his fingernail and "draw" on the cup. He would have one done in a break period. He was a nervous guy though.:D

    GaryC.

I have a ton of automotive research.
I found the blue pencil sketch of the sports roadster
in with a bunch of old press photos a nice fellow gave me back in 1969.
It makes me wonder who did it and what dreams they may have had
or fulfilled. So here's the unknown artists 15 minutes of fame!

btw... all of the photos were from about 1938 to 1950!

    PS:
Check out the other photos I posted from my private vault
    in the general discussion!

I have no idea who took the picture originally, unfortunately the photographer has probably passed on. From 1916ish ??? As soon as I saw it I knew I had to draw it......just one of those things. Nice job on that piece Surf Monkey, excellent execution, I need to try more color stuff me thinks.

This is a 24"x24" giclee on stretched canvas of a pic I took at Detroit Dragway in '64. The medium is colored pencil. Comments?
