You're quite crazy yourself there Mr Casey! It was great to spend a little time getting to know you and seeing what makes you tick. You are a true hot rodder!

I don't want to miss anyone in the thank you's, so on behalf of the Barons I am just gonna thank every single person that came out for the run. I can't think of many clubs in South Texas that weren't represented and we can't thank you all enough for the support. This was the 2nd year and we are estimating that we had about 3 times as many cars as last year. Between talking to old friends and meeting new ones, I barely had a free second (just the way I like it). I (or another Baron) will be posting up the award recipients in total, but I will say that the HAMB showed well with "Mrs. Buzzard's car" getting best custom, DueceRoger getting best hot rod with his just finished 32 coupe (this thing is awesome) and Hot Rod Artist receiving best competition. He firmed up the title by doing hot laps around the Whitten Inn at 3:00 in the morning.

Ryan, we'll save a spot for ya next year.

I will leave you with my favorite dialogue of the weekend....

Hot Rod Artist: "Who the hell picked this place?"
Club owner (unbeknownst to HRA ): "This is my club!"
Hot Rod Artist: "And a fine choice it was........."

Dang Ryan, we could have honked on the way past to wake you up. You were already half way out there. You know about the Drags this coming weekend, right?

Thanks for all of the hospitality guys. I had a blast cruising out there and hanging out in the park. Next year I'm making sure the Misses has the day off so we can stay overnight for the real craziness.

And I'm gonna build a valve cover racer. But I'm not going to race Crease. I think his car should probably be banned because, if not, he's going to maime or kill someone. That is one wrecking crashing valve cover.

And thanks for the "Best Custom" trophy. Mrs. buzzard was excited and a little bummed that she wasn't there when it was presented. All day after that, people kept on almost coming up to me and asking for details on the build. It was pretty cool...

  24. Well, I have to say I had more fun on Saturday then I've had in a long time!! I had a great time hanging out with the Barons. Dustin (my little bro) told me you guys were crazy, and now I see it  The afterparty at the club was a blast! I partied like a rockstar; the Flametrick Subs jammed out! I've never seen a band have so much energy for the entire time!

Casey, it was good to meet you. You are a TRIP! Thanks for posting up the pics of Chandler pukin up the Lubys baked fish :D I don't think it set too well with him that night. It sucks that I missed the hotel circletrack run you did in your car at 3am though. I was "napping" in the front seat of the Olds by then. I guess I either got really lucky that you guys didn't see me there, or I should be thanking you for sparing me from what that poor other soul went through!

To Mark, Joe , Johnny, Roger, Christian, and all the other Barons I met this weekend, thanks for the good times. You guys are a trip! Oh yeah, Mark, YOUR HOUSE FREAKIN ROCKS!! I'll try to post my pics up soon. Thanks again, Shawn

  25. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who came out to play this past weekend. The vibe throughout the whole weekend was fantastic. We look forward to opening the town doors of Kerrville and shaking things up again next year, and next year look for more corn ball things to do cuz this is no sit and sleep event!
Barons, thanks for making this thing happen. what a team!
Big thanks to the Baronesses (Cindy & Estelle) for the big surprise (Special shirts) and for all the help with the show. Y'all made it much easier for us pull this thing off.
Crease will get more of the details out for you and I will make sure there will be more shots to look at on the website www.caferacerproduction.com .
Thanks again to everyone who came out to play!
    KC, great pic's!!!!!!!
See y'all at the drags this weekend.

  28. Ok, here are the pics I got. Sorry, my pics are too big to download on here, so I gotta use good ol' Photobucket again. The pics are also from our entire trip starting in Boerne at the rod run there. Sorry, there are no pics from the night at the club, but I was a little uncapable of taking them by then
