'37 Kid and I were right where the cars started their 2 laps, on a small wooden platform, northwest corner of the stadium. You couldn't see MY shirt because I had to wear a sweatshirt. Sorry there wasn't a formal meeting. I was really wanting everyone to just experiance the racecar certification anyway. I know lots of people that don't even know this happens at Hershey. How could anyone miss when Bruce Larson fired the rail?? He only did 2 short smokey bursts but it was cool. Did anyone stay for the highwheeler race? Sure looks like fun.

I walked around the stadium around noon Friday,I didn't see Megan or anyone else I knew, then I stopped by Scary Larry's booth. He said he didn't know when or where the meet and greet was. I stopped by Motorcar Portfolio's booth, they said Megan and Matt were off somewhere looking for parts or something.
I had a great time, I got a set of trips, a headlight and a dash for my "Rat Rod". I hope to have it done in time for the "Jolopy Showdown"

I watched the high wheeler races from the same wooden platform you were on. So I guess we had a meet and greet minus the meetin' or greetin'! I had a hamb sticker on my sleeve. Oh well, next time!

Yes, that was Friday. The only day I was out of the booth-- FREE! I walked myself to death that day and loved every minute of it. Sorry we missed you. I still owe you slip roll instructions! Hmm...it is tech week.....

I wanna go soooo bad but I can't even begin to imagine having to miss the PileUp for Hershey. Maybe one day they won't be on the same weekend.

Rox, sorry I didn't see your HAMB sticker. As a warning to everyone planning on coming to Hershey next year, the PA. horse show is the same weekend. Big deal you say? Well, it's like the biggest horse show on the east coast and it's in Harrisburg. Book your rooms right now. Hershey is ALWAYS the first full week of Oct. with a Sunday.

Next year Hershey is October 8th-11th. So that probably means the Pile up is the 11th? :(

I've already got my room again at the Lodge. Why would anyone in their right mind book anything else during Hershey?

Rox, you think that's stupid? How about the year my high school booked the homecoming football game in the stadium? I think they finally changed it like 2 weeks before to an away home game.
