...for being addicted to old tin? 70's Jap bikes, 30's Fords, 50's Shoeboxes, etc. Why were so many cool stuff back in the day and why do todays cars suck? I can't stop thinking about 'em, buying 'em, going broke over 'em!!!! One day I will learn. I just hope my wife doesn't kill me first.
Don't know about a "perscription" (most people get prescriptions)...but you might want to talk to a "shrink" about your unUSA addiction to Jap bikes... R-
It's an obsession.....not an addiction. A fat fendered car or an old sedan sitting in the back of a building under a tree can still catch my eye quicker than anything. I can always visualize just what it could be with just a little work..............discounting of course that it would take a few bucks also! My problem is that I don't have the room or the "few bucks" to provide a good home for all the "treasures" I find scattered around this great country of ours. Maybe one of these days...........
I hear ya! I tried beer to take it away & that only makes me think & buy more plus then i gotta piss too. I just bought another house with oversize 3 car garage not even moved in yet and bought a 30 chevy truck to add to my projects

Back in the early 70's when my main transportation was a 56 panhead I had a T-shirt that said ,," I would rather push my Harley-Davidson that ride a Jap bike.",,,, And I PUSHED that Damn bike more thatn once! HRP
You need to realize you cant own them all! Just about the time you think you bought the last unmolested barn find, parked for 50 years, one owner, Four more show up on E--Y that are in better shape and cheaper than the one you just got. Its also like gambling
I'm probly going to get verbally abused right along with the new guy by saying this... I like all those things too. As far as the bikes and Hot Rods go it's about the thought of taking something, modifying it, and making it go faster.Thats whats cool about them. To me the shoeboxes are about style.
I take 30 mg of Morphine and 30 mg of Oxy plus 200 mg. of zoloft every day..doesn't seem to help.But I wish that rat inside my head would stop screaming(he keeps wantin' me to shoot him)
