No, it's not ugly. Toyotas are ugly...

This thing has sculpted body lines, a formal roof, and plenty else going on. Get the correct wheels, put on the right caps, paint it the original beige/bronze color, and drive her. No, it won't be a custom, but they don't ALL have to modified. Especially when the car just isn't right for a custom... (Sometimes they just aren't.)

On the other hand, you'll have the only one at ANY of your local car shows, and it's just as unusual as anything that some backyard customizer came up with. When was the last time you saw one at a show? You don't. People seem to overlook the great 4 doors, thinking only hardtops and ragtops are right. That at***ude seems sort of wrongheaded to me... These cars can look great painted their original colors, even though you don't see many new cars painted this way. Example attached, in nearly the same turdy color.

Dual pipes, black wheels with little hubcaps, dearch the rear springs to match the drop in front, then Ajax & wax it. Those engines throw the first quart of oil out on the road, so run it on "add". Your car looks like it's got 150,000 miles left in it pretty easy ...

  4. I agree with my new best friend huffreport. He and I think alike because we are brilliant.

For a 4 door the proportions are good and it's got SKIRTS! Lower it a little, give it a good set of 2" whitewalls and find or create your own full wheel covers with spinners or reflectors or some such flash.
It's got a good generic shape so emphasize that by removing all the Plymouth logos, scripts and lettering.

I think Plymouth calls that color Gold Poly. Even when new it was boring but was actually just right for a big sedan.
Paint it a metallic gold or bronze or copper but go with a more intense shade to suit your 2007 appe***e for a color that pops and use a larger metalflake.

Any improvements to the interior can be done in the same fashion, the same but more intense in color and material.

Being that you are from Missouri you doubtlessly have many children by several different women so having a big sedan is a necessity when vacationing to Branson.

    Or so they tell me.

Couple more here, just to see what it would look like. I agree with Benzine - Gold is a great colour for this thing. The flake orange roof might be a bit over the top, but it depends what you are after I guess.

I have about 10 gallons of CLEAN beer bottle caps that I will donate!

You could make a textural, mosaic kind of roof.

It would also encomp*** braille features,so that people of limited sight,(or is that vision?),can revel in it's turdy-ness!

    I love old Mopars!
Just make it safe and roadworthy, and haul them young's anywhere in it!

  13. I'd love to see them golfers ******* their pants when the Turd comes flying off the crest of the green at about 45 MPH.

I hear you about the projects - you're preaching to the choir(boy).

Try removing the skirts and the spotlights, and make the top black also. Not patrol car, but "unmarked" or "civilian appearance" cop car.

my kids already love the damn thing! my 8 yr old calls my work van..."the screamin metal death trap":D so he's pretty stoked to not have to ride in it and ride in the GOLDEN TURD!:)

  28. No cop car theme, I'm thinking more along lines of how Uncle Buck would kustomize it. Lower it, grungy astros, get rid of some chrome, straight pipes, propane flame throwers, dry ice smoke machine in the trunk, dirty, nasty, and loud. Hell yeah. You can be sure nobody will ride your *** or do stupid **** around you when kids are in the car. Yes sir, make your children proud of you.

I used to drive a Buick He**** to the airport on a pretty regular basis. If you wanna make sure no one does stupid things around you, like riding your ***, then buy a he****. No one will get anywhere near the thing... Cars change lanes, people don't mind if you go slow, (nobody will give you the finger), it's a hoot... I used to take the thing to garage sales, because it was the ideal HUGE station wagon. Good for hauling things. People are so polite when you are driving one. I even had one lady pull up to me when I was lost, asking for the address I was looking for. I guess she ***umed I was ready to haul away a stiff... Oh, one more bonus, you'll probably never get pulled over for ANYTHING whatsoever.

As for the turd, I like it. I like it a lot, no matter what you do with the paint, wheels, or whatever.
