    Here's the deal.

I am trying to put together a tour for the Friday of the Detroit Autorama. I was gonna try Saturday but it is 1200 dollars.

Friday the cost would be 600 Dollars. If we can get 30 folks signed up to go that would lower the cost to 20 bucks a head. That would to me seem to be a reasonable price to see some 200 cars from GM's collection. If more signed up than it would of course lower the cost.

The only other hang up is the transportation. It's about 20 miles from Cobo hall. We could hire a small van but that would add to the cost.

Lets hear some opinions as to the transportation issue.

First though lets see how many would be interested in doing this. I'm not gonna bust my ass setting it up if we only get a few people.

    LET'S HEAR IT GUY'S & GALS

I am in, but I want to sit on Junior and Johnny Sparkle's laps in the back of a crowded taxi driven by a non english speaking somewhat suicidal driver, preferably wearing a turban.

BobK, please check on that cost again. Last week when I checked it was $4000.00 and they wanted an extra $1000 for pop and water, and no I did not make a mistake adding too many zeros. Did you get the quote in writing?

I was there in June. Here is a link to the post regarding that whole weekend.

If anyone is going to be in town, and this goes down, it's worth the cost for sure.

Bob, put ChevyGirlRox down for sure. She's been wanting to go forever and she will be coming up for Autorama.

If you and your lovely wife want to stay here in the suburbs, your more then welcome to stay at my place......and I won't even make you do any tiling work for your keep.:D

IF anyone else in the Metro Detroit area is looking to lay some tile in the spring, this might be a PERFECT opportunity to get the best in the biz to do it while he's in town.
