This idea has been rolling around in my head for about 2 months now. I did a basic rendering in August.
Mikey from the Lifters gave me the door this summer. It's the perfect canvas.

Here is another version of my unfinished Art Challenge submission that I tweaked for the occasion. Nothing special, I just wanted to submit something this week. Frankenstein's Monster's 1940 Ford Tail Dragger. I really need to figure out why the colors look so awful when I up load pics. Oh Well.

All right Doc - don't scold me, but I didn't want to be left out of the Halloween art show with this on my mind - so I took a break from other projects tonight to put this one together with a speedy photochop coloring session.
I'm pooped - I LOVE the Halloween Art Show. Awesome contributions everyone.

It's been a while since I've been able to participate in the art show. I gotta say the last few weeks has been full of awesome stuff. This week too, great work everyone.

I whipped off this Halloween piece tonight - in 'Zombie' style. I don't do his technique justice but it was fun just to doodle again.

I also had time yesterday to finish my submission to the 40 Ford 'Art Challenge'.

    Let's see more...!!!

Here's a paint job I did a few years ago for a tattoo shop...The idea was to promote the shop, plus be able to pull the flash right off the bike. All Frankenstein related work. Some art is mine and some is by other tattoo artists...Igor's squeezing his brain into the shop name. "EASY CHOPPERS - TATTOOS"

  22. As I was leaving the barn yesterday, I took some pictures of some stuff I was gonna post, and I saw this "composition" of tires (no, they won't be fore sale), and took a quick pic. When I got home I messed with it in Photoshop.

Nice work overall. I am becoming more and more of a fan of (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) Friday art shows.

The Monster- Your gasket sealer creation is really interesting. I think it is really fun to mess around in different mediums as well. I'd love to know how you did it.

Widewhitewall-- those posters are fantastic! I would definitely be interested in a set.

4t6frd-- That picture of the tires is great. I really like the color and coposition.

Keep up the good work guys!

GaryC. , I think we were thinking the same thing this week !I didn't have any time this week for anything, but I had already started on the 40 challenge. You can see how far I got. I'm working on a real 40 Standard getting it ready to paint and have been to busy.
This 40 would get a 39 hood and a 10 in. section. My intention was to get it as low as the "Death" Bad Ass Vw, remember that thread? I think just two carbs would stick out of the hood. Radiator might be a problem. Wide 5 lug Quickchange rearend, quarter elliptic rear springs. Would look good with a Model A rear spring too.Skinny 16 in. Halibrand solids on the front with ribbed tires. You get the idea. I know its rough, but WTH , I put it on anyway.:D
