Thanks to 53Heavy and ChevyGirlRox and everyone else for the nice words!

ChevyGirlRox, to answer your question on the gasket sealer piece. I laid down the letters and skull in orange first, then put the black down. I found some old dumb plastic Wendys spoons in the kitchen JUNK drawer and went with it. Id never done it before either, so it was all hit and miss. Things I did learn from it, if you want to try it:
Do it outside on a windy day, or have a fan blowing over it. I almost died doing it in my living room. Also, it starts to set up really fast, even tho I put it on THICK. You notice the 'hellbound' is way more blended and smeary than the 'hotrods'. By the time I got to the bottom, the hotrods had began to set up!
Anyways, it was cool and ill try it again. Theres all kinds of colors too. White, grey, light blue, dark blue, orange, red, black, silver, copper, clear and maybe more.
Also whats an added bonus, is that you get tons of relief (the distance the medium is off the surface) from using this, way more than using oil. Also, it dries looking wet, but you can run your hand over the whole thing and its all rubbery. Really cool! And just so you know, this was a 11X14, I didnt hold back on the amount I was using, and I still have 1/3 of each tube.
    Cheers!

I've been working as a pro illustrator for about 25 years and I have to say the art on this site, and especially this week, is phenomenal! Damn, , everyone on here posts work that looks like you just love creating stuff for the pure joy of it, whether its digital ,traditional, or three-dimensional. I count myself lucky to be included with all of you!

  24. I've been working all week on the art challenge but I finally got something together last night for the Halloween art show. The logo I've been working on for a while, the board is about 18"x32", laser cut pieces on enamel painted pressboard.

OK,I've been enjoying all your super works for some some time :D ,I'll put something in the mix,I did airbrush T-shirts at rod & custom show in Fla. and Ga. from 1959 to 1965 under my art name the "The Bat" out of hell. Got tied up building and racing cars tell 4 years ago,so dropped my art. I guess I need too start up again, had few old timers ask if I'd do some shirts.
I think y'all can have fun with this old pic,my wife and I,in our home made costumes at a Halloween parity in 1964. The gaw on my monster was movible with a sring up and down.

    Hey Cab & Norwell thanks!

Cabb, I like your stencil stuff too, but it's nice to see you sharring other sides of artistic self… Go For It! Frankin's lumpy tung rocks.

Jeff, I liked last years, But the energy in this years feels more developped, it pops more!

Hey Tingler, those black and whites are even cooler than last weeks wolf!

Ger, I know you've been posting for a few weeks now, But welcome! I found your web site last fall, I think. And I got into your stuff big time. The way you do bias ply tires kills.

Hey Franco, thumbs up on Mars Attack's! you're still da man!

I could go on and on so I'll spare ya!

Greate Show All, one of the best yet!

    Take Care!
