My 1962 Falcon. I could have found a 2 door for what I gave for this but wanted this one, I like it!!
I'm not 100% on if it's cool to post ebay links or not, even though it's not mine. but if you search "1952 chevrolet" you'll find all the pics.
Heres mine! Getting ready to dive into the build this winter. Right after I finish and sell the 65 mustang fastback. This is a 27 dodge. Ive already installed bearclaw latches and they close like a dream! Ive got a 440 w/727. Itll have handbuilt headers, six-pak intake, warmed up cam, suicide front, kicked back, channeled, and unchopped. The rest is all a secret!
Not to start a War type debate, But why are so many fucks down on four doors anyway. Still better than buying a ricer!
Before I answer, let me tell you Im a lover of ALL american cars. Theres some that look cool with 2doors, some look cool with 4. I also dig wagons. I personally think 4 door cars look lower and longer, which is a look I enjoy. That being said: To this day, if you have a 4 door it means you have a family, You NEED 4 doors, and youre tied down, an old man that cant risk it all by driving like a dare devil cause you have too much to lose. It means youre not going to parties and staying out all night cause you have to raise your family. These arent my words, its the image that comes with owning a 4 door. A 2 door says youre single, youre sporty, a risk taker, a free agent and hell raiser. You have no one to answer to and not tied down. A bad boy. And plus, traditionally you never saw 4 door cars on the track, at the drags or cruisin the strip. If you did, then that must be daddies car. Borrowing the family car to cruise. Anyways, Im not saying I agree, but thats what people think without even thinking it. But I say, and many looking at this thread, that 4 door cars are awesome, look sweet, are way cheaper to get into. most-likely havent been raped by hacks, theyre differernt and weird and are just as fun. Ive seen a lot of 4 door gasser pictures in the 60's too! Long live 4 doors!!!!
Ya, and most 4-dr cars and SWs were family vehicles that were well cared for by the original and subsequent owners. Lots and lots of good lookin' 4-drs out there, and I think I'll save one for myself.
Here is my 40 DeLuxe....Going to have a 48 Flatty...from there??? who know's..but its mine!!..LOL Murph
I've already posted some stuff of mine in the other, older 4-door/more door thread. Check my website if you're interested in seeing 22 doors spread over 7 cars... -----------> http://www.bigblockmopar.nl <----------------
Here is a 37 dodge I had years ago when everyone would ask why waste your time. But when you can get 6 of your friends in it and go across the country. (in comfort). WELL...ghost
