  1. Not sure what award, but the winner has to be the 19 year old male guest on Maury Povich that has like 9 kids by 7 or 8 different girls.

Actually, it's probably an old in bad taste gag gift thing, before that sort of thing became too un-PC to joke about. You can probably find the modern equivalent at any Spencer Gifts store. Or adult bookstore.

Just to add some on topic interest: My '58 Rambler came with a load of old newspapers in it. Aorund 1964 is when most of them were dated. The car's had at least three owners between me and whoever parked it in 1967, too.

Anyhow, I get looking through the classified ads in one section. One of the dealers downtown had a nice '57 Chrysler 300-C convertible for $1095. No ads for '32 Fords or anything, but a lot of deals on other late '50s cars. I think the Chrysler is the only one that might bring 100 times that today, though.

Got a 39 Pontiac a few years ago that was full of random pieces and parts and in the glove box was a little black journal, about 3"x5", from 1948. Almost every day of the year has something written on the page, most are notes about hogs and cattle the fella was buying and selling. I kept that and will put it in my 24 TT truck when I take it to shows and stuff just for shits an giggles.

I bought a 66 Riviera a few years ago for the 425 and the front finned drums, and when I finally drilled the trunk latch as a last resort, there were 3 more pairs of finned drums and a iron 2x4 Nailhead intake in there.

But, the best by far as far as laughing my ass off was a recovered theft on Halloween day back around 90. I had bought a 84 Cutlass at the insurance auction that had been stolen in Memphis. Whoever stole it took a joyride and then wrecked the car and tossed the keys. Insurance co. made a new ignition key but there was no trunk key when I got it. Somebody had screwed up the lock trying to open the trunk so I had to drill it, and when I opened it up I thought I had struck gold. There were all kinds of tools and jumper cables, a small floor jack, etc, but there was also an oversized briefcase-looking bag. I took it out and opened it up, and found two complete wrestlers' outfits, complete with the tights, boots, silk handkerchiefs of all kinds of wild colors, and a handful of flyers with the fellas pictures and dates where they were appearing. If I recall right, their tag-team name was Southern Express. I tried briefly to contact the guys who the stuff belonged to, but never could. I kept the stuff for awhile just to show everybody but finally gave it all to some kids.
Anyway, I got a good laugh.

Complete maintenance records would be some of the coolest things I've found. Always amusing reading every fill-up over the course of thirty years. A little baggy of coke. The most entertaining part about that was my uncle calling the police.
The two dead mice in an antique bad of Redman was also fun.

In the wagon I found the mummified dead rat/cat in, while cutting out the rear door damage to add a panel, a coin dropped on the ground.

Turned out to be a 1921 Morgan silver dollar in excellent condition. This car is turning out to be quite a surprise...someday it'll be painted and back on the road.

We used to throw them out of the back of my Elky at 60+ and they bounce... it's takes some ghusto to break a good ball!

Of course, we were on truly deserted country roads.

This is a hysterical thread. Funny that someone mentions a cat...

It seems like in every other junk car we drug home, there was a kitten. Even once there was one stuck in the vents of a car bound for auction. They've all grown up and been rescued out to happy homes...

The coolest was in my Buick. I opened the glove box and found the original ignition parts that owner #1 had saved from the first tune up, complete with Autolight spark plug box and everything. Very cool.

I was cleaning out my trunk of my 55 Olds (work in progress)yesterday and decided to pull everything completely out. Where the spare tire rest, it has always had an Indian blanket lining the well with a rim on it. The previous owner i guess placed it there and i never thought much of removing it, no need seeing as it was just sitting. Anyway, i pull out the rim and notice something fuzzy. I pull out the old blanket, unwad it, and notice that the fuzzy things were 3 bear claws. My car has had alot of body work done to it and apparently no one has ever taken that blanket and rim out of the well including me and i have had the car for about 6 years! Now think of something to do with these claws!

So far all I have found in my '55 buick was a blue comb missing some teeth with a barbershop name printed on it can't remember what it was... then I found a large womans bra and probably the same gals panties. A small childs shoe... which I am guessing was the result of the bra and panties being left behind. And some old lose change...

Poking around in my T coupe this weekend @ Pistons & Paint and found a wadded up timing slip from 2001, guess the previous owner was not happy with the 12.11 et he ran in the 1/4 that day.

i haven't got my galaxie home to really start messing with it yet, but just from looking in the backseat (trunk lock cylinder is froze up) i have found 4 boxes of old 12 guage shells, a 1973 newspaper, random old clothes, all 4 original hubcaps, and some other little stuff.....

i'm hopeing i will be one of the lucky ones that finds cash in their old cars....the man that it belonged to just passed away and they found like 30 grand in another of his cars a few years ago....

i was taking apart the interior of an el camino at my local pick and pull and found a rattlesnake hanging out behind a panel. Apparently he wanted to go cruisin but forgot his keys.

Last week I found an old air freshener with a bikini clad girl from 1955 in a 1948 Plymouth, she's hanging in my 1/2 ton now. Also found three hubcaps from a 59 Vette a year or so ago...got them on my 57 Chevy.
