Built in 1959 the JBW/Ferrari is 3 races from new Anybody got a spare Ferarri Banger motor? I'd love to drive this someday Aluminum body so no rust. I include the tail-up shot so you can see it's original/unrestored and a bit rusty. Oh and one of my signs ..... just to remember one friend that gave it to me after he died
Chris...you've got too much good shit for being a young PUNK.....haha.... I sure like your '41...and your brother's '40 PU...nice rides man!
Thanks Josh, EVERYONE likes my brothers 40. He has declined several offers to sell it. He got it for FREE when he was 17 (he's 21 now). It was so bad I told him to leave it Now it's one of the most bitchin 40 pickups I have ever seen!!!! We just took both our cars (his 40 and my 41) on a run with the V8 Ford club were in on Saturday. It was about 200 miles round trip, and not only did his 40 run great (kinnda a mayden voyage) it's a shit load faster than my old 41!!!! Sorry Larry to hijack your thread, as you can see by my taste in cars, I LOVE this thread
Another from Don's Hot Rod Page. Although this one is not showing it's age, this car was built and painted in 1952. Top notch car for it's day. Striping is by Roth. The car has belonged to my dad's childhood friend for the last 30 years. Neal
the truck I posted above was a former Dairy Farm truck from what I was told. you should see the custom rear taillight housings that are made from a big piece of pipe. I guess someone got tired of them getting knocked off and made a nice piece of armor for them. My tailgate latch is a piece of work too.
This is an awesome thread! Mine doesn't belong since it's not a real hot rod. But here it is anyway. Our former "Clampitt car"
My old 46 Pickup - sold it a couple of years ago but I saw it at Dixie Fried ths year and it still looks exactly the same.
